Comments: I went back to work today, and while at lunch the topic of surfers in Florida came up. Both the freelancer and I had spent our high school years in Florida and had surfer friends. The surf scene in Florida is a little weird because, frankly, there are no real waves to surf. Surfers would be lucky to get a ride on a four footer. It is a lot like mountain biking here in the flat midwest.
