Comments: Mrs. Walters is an art teacher, and she was telling me about a recent assignment she had given. Based on an article they had read, her students were to do a drawing from an event in the life of Georgia O'Keeffe. For the most part, the kids had done excellent work, but there was this one kid who put little thought and no effort into the project. He drew Georgia O'Keeffe changing a lamp's lightbulb. The article said nothing about changing lightbulbs, but we can assume that Georgia changed her fair share, and this kid found a loophole of sorts, but his poor effort meant that he had to do the assignment again. The whole thing got me thinking and I decided to do this poorly-researched illustration from a day in the life of Georgia O'Keeffe.
