Comments: An art director at the company I work at (who has been there for eight years, has been a designer for thirteen years and who is very familiar with the work we do) has resigned and is doing his last two weeks with us. Between him and me, we do a load of jobs and many of them have tight deadlines. As one might expect I am very concerned on who we bring in to take on this part of the work. Personally, I'd like to get in a talented and experienced designer that won't flip out the first time they have to turn a package around in a day. Unfortunately, our new creative director wants to bring in someone fresh out of school. I'm not exactly happy with the idea that this would actually happen, but what can you do in these types of situations..
