Comments: At work I had to do a child-like illustration to go on a picture of a drawing toy for a package. I drew a picture of a duck in a sailor cap riding in a sailboat. During a meeting one of the writers made a comment about the "duck's ear." We all kind of looked at each other puzzled, but looking at the drawing again, I could kind of see how someone would see an ear. That is what I get for being lousy with animal anatomy I guess.
Later, it almost seemed natural that I do a drawing of a duck with ears. Granted they are prosthetic rather than natural in this case.
Status: Safely stored away in the Nerfect Worldwide North American Archives.
