Comments: The same evening I drew this, I had dinner with some old coworkers. During that meal we talked a lot about television. Somehow the phrase, "Why aren't you watching TV right now?" came out of my mouth and it stuck with me. Later I drew this champion of television who has failed to keep the kids' interest these days. With that said, I must point out that I find Barney Miller very entertaining.
