01 | 30 | 08 > GUESS WHAT'S FOR UPDATES

Do you know what is really frustrating? Taking a picture of yourself wearing a Viking helmet, grimacing, sticking your tongue out and crossing your eyes. The horns fall out of frame, the grimace makes your eyes all squinty (defeating the purpose of crossing them) and realizing that no one should see the inside of my mouth. Oh well, better luck next time I guess.

Now, what is the complete opposite of all that? Updating this website is shear bliss to all that frustration, and sisters and brothers, I have spent too much time over the last few months being frustrated. I really need to loosen up. Anyway, what's new this week?

Well, for starters, I'm serving up seven, new, hot and steamy daily drawings in my 4x6x366 '08 series. Don't believe me? Go check out the seven new doodles starting with the first of the new assortment here.

When you're done with all that pleasure, why not stop by the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Those too with propel you (somewhat) into a state of euphoria.

That's it for this week. Stop by next week for a whole new batch of updates. Take care and stay Nerfect!

| 23 | 08 > THE STORY OF MY UPDATES

You know, I am half tempted to write the details of this week's updates as one long, crazy, flipped-out beat poem. That is right, citizens of planet blue, drip-drop, twirlin' around Apollo so bright, like man, orbitsville, the notion had popped into my gourd and nearly flipped my wig. Yes, I nearly transgressed that fine line between this, and oui oui me mo my chickadees, and something that made sense and discussed what has been updated.

As I said, I was half-tempted. Now that I have some of it out of my system, let's move onto the business at hand. First being 4x6x366 '08. As you may or may not know, I, Mr. Walters, generate one fresh drawing each and every day and every week about this time I post the results. This week is no different, and the latest group starts out with this little beauty.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so please feel free to enjoy them as you like. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to play my bongos or something. Gonesville.

| 16 | 08 > GOOD WEDNESDAY TO YOU

Thank you for joining us here at the official Nerfect website. I'd like to extend salutations and a warm welcome to you all this fair day. This website is updated weekly and I'd like to use this time to tell you what new additions have been made.

One of the main features of this site, as I see it, are my daily drawings. Each and every day I sit down and draft a small illustration, and each week I post the results of this process from the previous week. This series of drawings goes by the name 4x6x366 '08, and the first of the new drawings is shown here.

If you are new to Nerfect.com and enjoy these daily drawings, you might want to check out my pieces from the last three years (2005, 2006 and 2007.) I recommend a review of these in small, separate viewings as there are well over one-thousand drawings here.

Every week I also update a couple features called Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. The Picture of The Week is a photograph I have recently shot, often documenting the day-to-day goings on in my life, and I post a new one every week. With the Link of The Week, I actually invite you to leave Nerfect.com in order to witness something interesting that I've found online.

Speaking of sites other than this one, I'd like to point out that I have a series of designer figure ideas up for peer review and voting over at Patch Together. If there is enough interest and a good amount of positive votes, one of my characters could be made into a vinyl figure, so please do go check them out when you have a chance.

Also, over at Ow! My Sweet Eyes! we share a good variety of mind-blowing video clips that we've come across online. I'd like to extend an invitation to O.M.S.E. to you all. Please do have a visit.

Well, that is all I have for you all this time around. Please enjoy this week's updates, and please come again. Take care and keep it Nerfect.

| 09 | 08 > UPDATES FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE UPDATES

Here we are in the second week of a new year, and here you are visiting the ol' Nerfect website. I welcome you and thank you for checking it out. If you're new to the site, I try my best to update it every Wednesday, and I have a few weekly features.

One of which is my daily drawing series, which this year is going by the handle of 4x6x366 '08. I have a new batch of drawings to share with the world and I've posted them, the first of which can be seen here.

I've also updated my Picture of The Week and I've added a new Link of The Week. Hopefully, you will find some interested in all, or at least some, of these things, and you'll be back next week to see what else has been put up.

Well, that's it for this time around. Take care of yourself.

| 02 | 08 > HAPPY NEW UPDATES!

Well here we are in a brand spanking new year. I hope that everyone reading this has a phenomenal aught eight. If I have any personal resolution for this new year, it is to push forward and put a heck of a lot of effort into creating better, interesting work and to get it out further into the world.

This might shock a few of you, but I've been pretty lousy about getting images of my many projects onto this site. I have a few things that I really should polish up and photograph, and my portfolio section is sorely overdue for an overhaul and update. When I get these things together, along with any new work, I will make it a priority to get it up here for all to see.

As for my daily drawing project, 4x6x365 '07, I've wrapped up another year of drawings. You can check out the last of 2007's doodles starting here. As for this year, well, I wanted to talk briefly about my thoughts on if I should keep on doing the drawings or not.

As much as I've enjoyed doing the daily drawings and as much ideas they have generated, I must admit that sometimes it can be a hassle to squeeze in drawing time after a long day at work or when I'm not feeling my best. The time involved also eats into the scant free time I have to take these ideas and build them into more substantial pieces. It's a bit of a catch 22. I appreciate the exercise, it gets me eager to do more work, but it does eat into my time. So what do I do now?

I have decided to move forward and keep doing the drawings. Hopefully I will be able to get my act together a bit more and schedule my time a bit better. For any negative aspect the project may have for me, the good that I feel comes from it outweighs those negatives exponentially. I am pleased to announce that I will be continuing my daily drawings in this new, leap year with 4x6x366 '08, and the first drawing in this new series can be seen here.

Considerations were also made for the other weekly features of this site, and until I decide otherwise, the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week will keep coming at you.

Before I split, I would like to mention that there are now many fine Nerfect goods at A Okay Official in Chicago. If you're passing by Clark and School, make sure to stop into A Okay and take a look around.

Well, that is it for now. I hope you all have a splendid new year and that you keep it Nerfect 24/7.
