02|16|04 NERFECT IS AS MIGHTY AS 100 DEAD PRESIDENTS!

It's that time of year again. You can just smell President's Day in the air. For those of you not from the United States, President's Day is a special holiday where the masses build large effigies of former Presidents of the United States. At twilight, these fifty-foot-tall (a foot for each state) sculptures are set ablaze to prevent the spirits of deceased Presidents from rising from the grave and eating all our corn!

This year, I am honored to be in charge of the construction of my town's figure of Grover Cleveland. I have taken a break from guarding the fireworks-filled head, which will be hoisted into position at noon, in order to update this site. The other night I had a dream that I got a job on a show for preteens on Nickelodeon, which I could take my dogs to, and which eventually involved me getting my pilot's license and partying in Tijuana. What could all that possibly mean? How long would Nickelodeon put up with me before having me fired? What does learning to fly a plane have to do with writing episodes of a television show? What does this have to do with this week's updates?
