02 | 24 | 10 > HOW DID ALL THESE DIRTY DISHES GET IN THE SINK?

I can't imagine how we've used all these dishes, pots and whatnot, but there they are in the sink. Wait, are those Mrs. Walters' socks on the kitchen counter? How did they get up there? Oh well, let's move away from these unsolvable mysteries and get to the updates.

As always, first up are the drawings I do every single day, post on Wednesdays and in total are known as 4x6x365 (MMX). The latest group can be seen, starting with this piece right here.

By the way, if you're curious, I have one hundred and twenty drawings left to go until I hit the two thousand drawing mark. What? You weren't curious? Oh.

I've also been able to update the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so make sure to check those out when you get the chance.

Well, if you'll excuse me, I've got some dishes to scrub.


02 | 17 | 10 > OH WAIT! I NEED TO UPDATE NERFECT!

Recently, I've been trying to get a lot of things on these various to-do lists checked off. I was chugging along with these tasks when I realized that I needed to update this website. I can't believe I almost forgot. Sheesh!

Well, I've got the updates in order and ready for you all. Here is what is new and notable this time around.

First off, I have seven new 4x6x365 (MMX) drawings to enjoy. Check them out starting from this beauty.

Also, I've updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Make sure to enjoy these pleasant features when you get the chance.

02 | 10 | 10 > THE UPDATES GO UP AS THE SNOW GOES DOWN

As you read this, parts of this country are dealing with heavy snowfall. Alarmists would blame this all on volcano-based super villains and their weather machines, but the fact is that this probably has a lot more to do with the fact that it is February.

Also, as you read this, I have gotten the word that my work at Swim Cafe will be coming down Thursday night. If you haven't seen it so far, you still have a little time to see my paintings at Swim. I really appreciated the opportunity show my work there, and highly recommend the place for their tasty vittles.

As my work comes down, the work of my friend and former coworker, Emmy Star Brown will be going up. Funny how things work out isn't it.

Moving on, I'd like to remind you all again, that Mrs. Walters and I have pieces in the upcoming Uncle Fun Doll Art Show. The event is THIS Saturday from 4 to 7pm and the pieces are very, very affordable, so come on out and not only check out the work, but also to shop at one of the best stores anywhere in the solar system. Seriously, if you're in the Chicago area and you've never been to Uncle Fun, you are really missing out.

Now as for updates to this very website, I'd like to start with my 4x6x365 (MMX) project. Every single day, I sit down and draw a picture measuring four by six inches, and every Wednesday, I post the results since the last update day. This week is no different, and you can look over the new pieces beginning with this treasure.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. The fingers are crossed that you'll dig this week's installments of these features.

Outside of this website, I have created Facebook fan pages for some of my various projects. Besides becoming my internet buddy, joining one of these fan pages is the best way to stay updated on various Nerfect goings on as they happen. Nerfect.com has one, as well as Diabolical Hot Dog. I even created one for Ow! My Sweet Eyes!, so join up today.

Before I sign off, I'd like to mention an interesting artistic experience I had. I was helping my friend, the artist Jessie Smith-Larson, paint some windows for an event at the French Pastry School in Chicago called For The Love of Chocolate, and it came up that they were short an artist to paint live models with chocolate at the event. I ended up helping with that and have posted some shots of my work up on Flickr.

Here we are again. If it's Wednesday, it is time for the weekly updates.

Before I forget, here is another reminder about the Uncle Fun Doll Art Show on Saturday, February 13 from 4 to 7pm. I dropped off work by Mrs. Walters and myself today, and it seems like it will be a fun thing to see all together.

I should probably also remind you again to go check out the work hanging at Swim Cafe if you haven't made it over there yet. The work will be coming down soon, so make sure you go check it out.

As for new things here on the ol' website, I have added seven new drawings to my 4x6x365(MMX) series. You'll be able to review the latest work starting with this drawing.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Give them the ol' once-over when you can. I hope you enjoy them.
