03|28|05 I JUST FLEW BACK FROM SAN FRANCISCO AND BOY, ARE MY ARMS TIRED
The wife and I went out west for a week in lovely San Francisco and had a great time. We stayed with a good friend and hoofed it all around the fair city. It's a great city to walk around and there is loads of great places to eat and shop. It's not that I'm some big shopper, but I did pick up a lot of cool toys and even had to ship a box of bootleg robot toys back to Nerfect HQ. I took some pictures while out west, and I'll try to get them up as soon as possible, if not in their own gallery then maybe in the PICTURE OF THE WEEK cycle. Keep an eye on this spot for future details.
Even though it was a vacation, I did not neglect all of my Nerfect duties. I kept up with my drawings for the 4x6x365 project and have posted them for inspection.
The PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK have also been updated. We invite you to go check out all the cool new stuff.
03|21|05 NERFECT.COM IS UPDATED IN FRONT OF A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE
Well, maybe not really, or in fact at all, but I do have some hot and juicy updates for you all. Please try to contain yourself while I mention that I've added yet another week of drawings to the 4x6x365 gallery. I've also updated the PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK. Hey! Watch it! I probably should have warned you about that rather than just blurt it out like that. I apologize to all those of you who were knocked off their seats by that shocker.
03|14|05 WHY DIDN'T ANYONE WARN ME THAT DREW BARRYMORE WAS IN DONNIE DARKO?
Seriously people, I count on you to let me know these things. There I was starting to get into the movie, and KABLAMO! There was Drew Barrymore stinking up the joint. Good acting relies on two things: 1. A gut feeling that there is something going on in the mind of the character, that this a real person with a past and their own unique perspective on the world around them; and 2. That the actor or actress is not Drew Barrymore. It just ruined the rest of the film for me. Now I could go on and on about this, but that is not what we're here for is it?
Odds are you might be more interested in the updated 4x6x365 gallery, PICTURE OF THE WEEK or LINK OF THE WEEK. Granted, you could be a first time vistor trying to get the lay of the land, and in that case, you should explore the sections listed on the left side.
If you are a first time visitor, or kind of forgetful, you might be interested to know that I have done illustration and design work for the Project: Porkchop clothing line. If you haven't been to the Porkchop site lately, or at all, I invite you to go check it out.
03|08|05 MR. WALTERS IS MY NAME, NERFECTION IS MY GAME
Due to the ease of cut and paste along with being a bit sleepy, I mistitled one of the latest 4x6x365. I totally fixed it now.
03|07|05 WITTY WEEKLY UPDATE-RELATED QUIPS NEED NOT APPLY
The weather here in the Chicago area was relatively good this weekend, and people went ape over it. We even found ourselves taking long walks, running errands and buying gas grills. Unfortunately, evryone else had the same idea and the roads were packed. The warmer weather boosted spirits, but in the back of your head you can easily imagine a blizzard on Easter day. Darn midwest.
Moving on, and away from the real snoozer of conversation known as "the weather", I'm happy to say that the 4x6x365 project is going strong and I've added more images to the gallery.
I've also updated the PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK, so dig away cats!
