03 | 20 | 06 > WEEKLY UPDATE, HOLD THE ONIONS, SAUCE ON THE SIDE
Well, it is that time again. For a few brief moments, I have drug myself from the drawing table, stretched a little and have updated this fine website. I've been pretty busy lately with various personal projects and schemes, but I have managed to keep up with the weekly updates.
Once again, I have posted new drawings in my 4x6x365 '06 series. You may dig the freshest set of drawings here... Well, at least you can peep them. You either dig my scrawlings, or you don't... Dig?
I've also pulled together the newest Link of The Week and Picture of The Week. Yes, dreams still come true ladies and gentlemen.
03 | 20 | 06 > THERE IS A PLATE OF HOMEMADE UPDATES ON THE KITCHEN WINDOW SILL
For those regular visitors and those who just found this website, welcome to Nerfect.com. Like a majority of Mondays, this is the day when the site gets its fresh, weekly updates, adn this week we have a few more than usual.
First, there is a new paper model for you to download, cut out and assemble. If you have a sharp Xacto knife and nimble fingers, you will soon have your very own paper model of Mr. Walters. A version of it was made for a Belgian magazine with a theme of "brand yourself." Unfortunately, unknown to me, they had run a similar piece in a previous issue. I did another piece for them, and decided to offer a variation of the model here on Nerfect.com to download.
We also got in a new batch of butons to jazz up your... Well, anything really. There are two new designs. The first being Hip Hop Hamburger, the star of the new entrance page, and the next is a pixelated version of the classic Nerfect logo. You can check them out and many other buttons in the Nerfect Button Shop.
I've also been keeping up rather well with my 4x6x365 '06 project, and have a week's worth of new drawings for you. Dig the first of the new ones right here.
Finally, I have also managed to update the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week. There you have it, a whole new batch of Nerfectness to entertain yourself with. See you next week.
03 | 13 | 06 > MAN BITES UPDATES
The first few times I tried to write this, I authored some of the most depressing passages ever. I don't know what it is, but everything I thought of came out like a bluegrass song about sick orphans. Man, what a drag! No one wants to read that sad sack stuff. What do they want to read about?
The amusing things puppies do! Hooray! Too bad this isn't supercutepuppystories.com. Instead, let me tell you about updated my ongoing 4x6x365 '06 project. Well, I updated it... Um... With a week's worth of new drawings. You can see the first of the new batch here.
I can also tell you about how I euphorically updated the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week. I was totally whistling a happy tune while I did it, and there were puppies rolling around. Joy!
Don't let me get you down. Chek out all the great new stuff and keep smiling.
03 | 06 | 06 > RETURNIG TO THE OLD ORDER OF THINGS
Things are slowly returning to normal. Sure I'm still hacking now and again and it feels like someone hit me in the chest with a bag of gravel, but for the most part I am returning to my standard dynamo of Mr. Waltersness. Usually I can have an illness packed and gone within a couple days, but pneumonia really took me out. Let's hope I don't have anything like that for a long time.
Coming back on line with my life and projects includes my 4x6x365 '06 project. Drawing a picture every single day becomes a lot easier when you can literally catch your breath and when you are conscious. There might not be as many new ones since my late update last time, but you can see the latest ones starting with this scrawling.
I am also happy to be able to post a new Link of The Week and Picture of The Week. I know they don't require as much effort on my part, but I'm still happy to be able to return to the normal schedule of things around here.
03 | 01 | 06 > I AM SO SICK OF THAT LOGAN ON GILMORE GIRLS... OH, AND PNEUMONIA!
I wish I could say I feel better, but I canıt. Last Thursday I woke up with sore joints and a hacking cough, which turned out to be part of a nasty case of pneumonia, which kept me flat on my back for days. My temperature shot up, my throat was sore from the hacking, my body ached, and the drugs that brought me relief from the pain, also brought me the most disturbing psychedelic visions every time I closed my eyes. It is not an experience I ever want to go through again.
Even though I was finally able to stagger into my day gig today, I pretty much feel like Iıve been beat up. It feels like Iıve been hit in the chest repeatedly with a bag of potatoes and that my head is packed with lard.
With all of this, my personal work suffered. I did manage to generate pieces for my daily drawing project, 4x6x365 '06, but truth be told, there were days I was barely conscious and I had to make the drawings up later. A special game you can play this time is trying to spot the point at which illness and drugs drove me insane. The latest batch of drawings starts with this gem.
I pretty much feel off the face of the Earth over the last few days. My usual routine was pretty much thrown in the rubbish bin. Yes, I know Iım using the phrase rubbish bin Give me a break, Iım stick sick. Anyway, I have managed to thrown together a Link of The Week and Picture of The Week for what it is worth.
Now if youıll excuse me, I have to pass out again.
