03 | 28 | 07 > HERE WE GO AGAIN

I'm still getting used to and trying to work out all the kinks in my new system of updating this website on Wednesdays, but I think it is going pretty well so far. For those of you new to Nerfect.com, I used to update this website every Monday with a series of weekly features, but have decided to move the day that these updates happen to Wednesday recently.

One of these weekly features is the updating of my collection of drawings that I do everyday, and that I post ever week for you to review and enjoy. This series goes by the name 4x6x365 '07 and you can see the first of the new drawings right here! Huzzah!

The other weekly features are Picture of The Week (where I show what I've been snapping) and Link of The Week (where I've been spending time online lately), and yes, I have updated them, too. Go check them out.

Finally, I would like to note that I will be unable to update Nerfect.com next Wednesday for reasons that I will explain later. Hopefully, I will be able to perform the weekly updating a few days later, but everything will definitely be back on schedule Wednesday, April 11, 2007. 03 | 21 | 07 > IN A WAY, THE WEEK STARTS NOW

It might take me a while to work out the kinks in this new system, but I have pretty high hopes for making Wednesday the new weekly update day. It should also free up that time I need on the weekends. Heck, maybe I'll get around to working that next comic book or line of toys I've been itching to get to. Anyway, welcome to the new state of affairs.

Now what better way is there to start "hump day" off than by reviewing the latest batch of 4x6x365 '07 drawings? Sure, eating a big bowl of candy while getting a massage on your solid-gold yacht might be pretty good, but looking at my scrawlings has got to be right after that. Check out the newest group starting with this dandy.

I also have a new, but slightly-delayed Picture of The Week and Link of The Week for you to peek at, too. Speaking of links, you should probably also become a regular visitor to Ow! My Sweet Eyes!, which Hot Funk and I update daily.

03 | 18 | 07 > WEDNESDAY IS THE NEW MONDAY

Lately I've come to the realization that I spend a lot of my weekends working on this website rather than taking the time to relax or work on some of the larger projects that I've wanted to start. Over the last few weeks, I've tried to do a lot of the work ahead of time, but it seems that a majority of the work tends to cut into my weekend. I stay up late after a long day of trying to get other things accomplished just to get the updates done, and frankly, it is wearing me out.

Now, I have no intention of keeping the website growing and evolving, or slowing that process up. I just want to do it in a manner that makes better use of my time, and that allows me to jump onto other projects. What does this mean? Well, it simply means that Nerfect's weekly updates will be happening midweek on Wednesdays rather than on the usual Mondays.

Of course this means you will have to wait until this upcoming Wednesday  for the latest weekly update, so please stop by again then. Thank you.


03 | 12 | 07 > WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS WE ALL ARE

Losing this hour for daylight savings time is something like getting punched in the stomach. It is a pretty raw deal for most of us. We all understand why it is done, to make the best use of the daylight hours, but there is just something about getting ripped off that you feel deep in your gut. It stinks, but I guess we should all endeavor to soldier on.

As you may have noticed from the above banner, we have some new buttons in the old Nerfect Button Shop. I invite you to go take a peek, especially if you are new to the site, or haven't browsed the massive button selection in a while.

We have also improved the Nerfect Stickers, Buttons and More Fun Pack! A great gift, the pack includes copies of all our famous stickers and a few rarely seen by the public, a random selection of four buttons, and well, more!

Stolen hour be damned! I have continued working on my 4x6x365 '07 daily drawing project. Maybe it is the lack of sleep talking, but I really think there is something special about this week's batch. See this week's batch for yourself starting with last Monday's masterpiece.

I have also pulled together another socko, one-two punch with the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week features, so don't miss them. Please excuse the boxing reference. I saw a bit of Rocky IV this weekend and it has kind of stuck with me.

03 | 05 | 07 > IF UPDATING MY SITE IS WRONG, THEN I DON'T WANT TO BE RIGHT

Hello beautiful. How are you doing today? I must say that it is a real pleasure to have you here with me today... Well, here with my words anyway.

Work continues on my 4x6x365 '07 project and things are going well. Sure, I probably should shake things up a little now and again, but I can totally picture myself crossing that one thousand drawing mark later this year. The comments I write for each drawing may make it seem otherwise, but I am really happy with how this whole thing is working out, and it seems like at least twice a week, I come up with something I'd like to expand upon. I invite you to review this week's fine selection of drawings, starting with this one.

The other weekly features of this website, Link of The Week and Picture of The Week have been updated, too. When you get through with my drawings, please feel free to enjoy these other parts of Nerfect.com as well. By the way, don't feel that you have to stop with the weekly features. There are very few people who have seen every one of the thousands of pages here on this website. You could become one of them if you have a couple days to spare.
