03 | 26 | 08 > PIGGYBACK RIDES ARE OFF

Ugh! My back is acting up again. I did a heck of a lot of housework tonight and now my back is really killing me. Things had been pretty good in the back department until this evening. It feels like someone is twisting a screwdriver into my spine, and the sad part is that I wasn't doing anything extremely strenuous just stuff like doing the dishes, a bit of laundry and ironing. It isn't like I was carrying cinder blocks up a ladder to the roof or getting hit in the back with a two-by-four repeatedly, but it sure feels like it now.

Well, enough about that, let's get to the weekly updates. First off are the latest drawings in my 4 x 6 x 366 '08 series. For new visitors, every day of the week I draw a piece and every Wednesday I post the results. This week is no different and you can see the newest stuff starting with this piece.

03 | 19 | 08 > SMELL THAT? YUM! UPDATES!

Well here we are again friends. Nice to have you visiting the ol' Nerfect once again. I've put up quite a few items of interest for you this week, so let's get right to it.

Last week I mentioned my trip out to San Francisco, which included checking out Peat Wollaeger's Luchador Collab-O-Mask event which had a piece Mr. Wollaeger and I teamed up on. Well, I've got some shots of that piece right here, and it leads of a whole new batch of pieces I've added to my Painted Miscellanea section, so please take a look. I've also put up most of these pieces for sale over at the Nerfect Etsy shop, so if you dig something, you could easily own it.

I've been doing quite a few smaller pieces like the ones I posted as exercises, and hope to work up to a few more substantial works in the near future. I'm not sure if I'm quite up to starting any larger pieces very soon, so it is mostly these smaller pieces. I'll try to keep posting them here for you all to enjoy.

Speaking of artistic exercises, I've posted a new batch of daily drawings in my 4x6x366 '08 series, and you can check out the new ones starting right here.

03 | 13 | 08 > BOY MY ARMS ARE TIRED

Those of you adorable chums who stop by this site first thing Wednesday morning might have noticed I'm a bit late with the ol' updates. The reason for this is that I was out in San Francisco for a few days attending Peat Wollaeger's Luchador Collab-O-Mask event and having a bit of a holiday, and I just got back Wednesday evening.

The show and trip were great and San Francisco was awesome as always. I got to meet up with good friends a few times and made some new ones. I ate well and had some interesting experiences that I will be with me for quite some time. It might take me a while to get my act together, but if I can swing it, I'll get some shots up from the visit.

Well, I'm back here in the Middle West now and ready to drop the weekly updates on y'all starting with the latest in my 4x6x366 '08 series. Shall we enjoy the latest group together starting with this beauty?

I've also put up a new Picture of The Week (from the Luchador event) and a Link of The Week that has changed my life. Please enjoy them responsibly.

Well, that is it for now. I must say that it is a bit strange feeling to be back in Illinois, I had gotten so used to life in San Francisco. I might have to talk to the members of the Nerfect board of directors about setting up a satellite office out there.


03 | 05 | 08 > YEE HAW! GET ALONG LITTLE UPDATES! GET ALONG!

Howdy partners! It's update time here at the ol' Nerfect ranch, and you're just in time to check them all out.

Up first, my 4 x 6 x 366 '08 project continues to grow. For any new visitors to this site, I draw a picture measuring 4" x 6"  every single day, and once a week I post the newest ones for all to see. This week's assortment starts with this one right here.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Again, for those of you new to the site, Picture of The Week is an image I've snapped with my handy camera and put up for all to see.

Link of The Week is a feature where I post a link to something that I've stumbled across online and want to share with the rest of the planet. It's maybe not the best idea to encourage people to leave your site, but I've never been one to follow proper business models.

Finally, I'd like to mention again that I collaborated on a piece with stencil artist extraordinaire, Peat Wollaeger. This piece is part of Mr. Wollaeger's Luchador Collab-O-Mask series that will be display March 8 at On Six Gallery (Club Six) in San Francisco.
