04 | 25 | 07 > I REALLY NEED A BULLHORN

My name is Mr. Walters and I am running for president of the United States. That is sure a catchy opening line isn't it? I thought so too when I first read it in a letter sent to me by a Mr. Obama, so I thought I would make good use of it for myself. Sure enough it probably raised some eyebrows and loosened a certain amount of bowels as well.

Truth be told, I guess I could say that I am running for president of weekly updates. Yes, that seems more appropriate at this juncture. If I change my mind, I will let you all know. Until then let's enjoy some updates shall we?

First up, I've added a healthy batch of the drawings I do each and every day in my 4x6x365 series. This week's gems start right here.

Next, I'm happy to announce that I've also updated the Link of The Week and the Picture of The Week. Please feel free to review them at your leisure.

Until next time, take care and stay Nerfect!

| 11 | 07 > JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND THINK OF UPDATES

Before I get to this week's updates, I just want to share an experience I had this week. I was attempting to cut across Daley Plaza in order to get to my bank during lunch when I came across a mass of people. It was a huge rally for Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics, which had just been announced as the chosen U.S. candidate city for the games.

As I made my way through the crowd, waiting for speeches to be made, I noticed that music was being blasted over a public address system, specifically the song "Dude Looks Like A Lady." It took me quite some time to get through the crowds and it struck me that that was a rather odd song for this sort of event. What does "Dude Looks Like A Lady" have to do with the Olympics?

It has kept me puzzled ever since then.

Moving on, I am happy to announce that my 4x6x365 '07 series keeps growing and growing. It is a nice set of drawings I do say so. Anyway, go check out the first one in this new batch.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week for your viewing pleasure. Speaking of the internet (kind of), I would like to once again invite you all to check out the daily odd video blog, Ow! My Sweet Eyes! which I am an administrator of. It is a public service, a labor of love and needs a larger audience. Go check it out and if you like what you see, help us spread the word about it.

Finally, I'd like to mention that I love overalls, and I wish I had a job or lived in a manner that allowed me to wear them more often. Take care and stay Nerfect

| 11 | 07 > NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT

After a week's absence, we are back on schedule with the weekly updates. If fact, I have updated all the regular features for the time missed. In a way, you are getting two weeks' worth of updates this week. Okay, you ARE getting two weeks' worth of updates this week.

I wasn't able to update this site last Wednesday, because Mrs. Walters and I were out of the country for a week on vacation. How far out of the country? Is London and Paris out of the country enough for you?

It had been a while since we've been to Europe together, so it was a real treat for us. It was a great trip and I look forward to hitting that continent as much as possible in the near future. It shouldn't come as a surprise that many of the updates this week feature experiences from this trip.

Speaking of updates, how about that 4x6x365 '07 project of mine? As of this update, I have finally reached the hundred drawing mark for this year. Only 265 more to go this year, and only 170 more to go until I reach the 1,000 drawing mark for the series. Seeing as we are catching up on lost time, please feel free to review the last couple week's worth of drawings starting with this hot number.

I have also put up a couple weeks' worth of Link of The Week and Picture of The Week, so go check them out.

Aside from all of this, I would like to wish you all a good remainder of the week. See you next Wednesday with all the hot weekly updates. Keep it Nerfect everyone.
