05 | 29 | 06 > WELL, THAT WAS A SHORT SPRING...

Summer is here. It has been oven hot here in Chicago, and it has really caught me off guard. I was just starting to enjoy Sping a little bit, but then it was stolen from me. I really have to find a new place to live where the seasons are given a chance to play out. I really miss a proper Spring. Anyway, it's here and there isn't anything that I can do about it, so I'll just update the site and go hit the sack.

I've updated my 4x6x365 '06 project, and again, you can really see how the lack of sleep took its toll on me. Last Monday's drawing can be found here. I've also updated the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week just for you.

| 22 | 06 > DEAD MAN UPDATING

What a week. I am absolutely beat. Months of working late nights on my new comic have really taken their toll on me. I finally had to take a break from it all Sunday just to keep from going insane. On the other hand, I've recently gotten back in touch with a handful of some really cool friends from high school via MySpace. It has been interesting to catch up and see what they're up to.

Even though I'm practically one of the living dead now, I have kicked out some nice drawings this week for my 4x6x365 '06 project. You can witness the latest batch starting right here.

I've also stayed awake long enough to update the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week. I'd jazz this text up a bit, but again, wiped out. With that said, I'm going to pass out.

| 15 | 06 > ANYONE OUT THERE WITH A TIME MACHINE?

Seriously, if there is anyone out there with a time machine that I could borrow, I'd really appreicate it. All I need to do is burn a CD with the pages from the comic book I'm working on and then I'll jump back in time a couple months to finish the whole thing up. I promise not to corrupt the timeline and I'll spend the days working on my computer at home while my present self is at work.

Time travelers, you have to help me out on this one. With all the crap that has gone down lately in my life (i.e. pneumonia, stabbing myself, Pica dying, etc.) I have lost a lot of time on the project and it will be a small miracle if I can pull this off and get it printed in time for the San Diego Comic Con. If you want me to make a quick stop and help Paul Revere warn people about the redcoats, I'll do it.

Well, until someone in a silver jumpsuit lands a time-pod in my backyard, I guess I have time to tell you about this week's updates. First of which, my own personal marking of the passage of time, the 4x6x365 '06 series keeps moving along. All you linear thinkers out there should start with Monday's drawing.

Wait, I think I just heard something! No, sorry, it was just the dryer. Oh well, I might as well tell you that the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week have also been updated, so go check them out.

Apparently, I need to get back to work on the comic because no one has come back in time yet to help me out. Sure, technically as I type this this page is not uploaded and available on the internet for ages to come, but I plan on doing so later. This means one of four things: One, something horrible happens to prevent me from posting this (Gasp!); Two, time travel is impossible (Say it ain't so!)); Three, people in the future are too busy in the future fighting or having sex with robots to care about art (Not in my future you don't!); Four, I actually pull this thing off (Really?). Let's go for four.

| 08 | 06 > THE SADDEST ERRAND EVER

First off I'd like to thank everyone who has sent my wife and I cards or sent over an e-mail expressing their sympathy over the loss of our dog Pica. It really means a lot to us. Thanks again everyone.

This weekend we had to go on the saddest errand ever. We had to go pick up our dog's cremated remains. I had thought I had come to terms with the whole sad affair, but when I held the small tin canister containing her remains the emotions became to come back. In a way I'm glad that I'm not "cool" with this yet. It's been tough, but things are getting better.

The second part of the saddest errand ever was settling up our bill at the vet. With all the vet visits, treatments and the operation the grand total is pretty painful in its own way... Especially with how everything turned out. Goodbye savings account.

One good thing that happened this weekend, was that my new sticker arrived. As you can see above the Champion Bear sticker features a bear eating a hot dog. You can get two for a buck right here... One for you and one for a pal! It is the hottest deal in town!

I've also updated my 4x6x365 '06 project, and this week there is theme. I'm not quite sure why I decided to basically draw a certain kind of thing this week, but it was kind of fun. To see the latest set of drawings, you can click here to go to the first of them.

I've also managed to get a new Picture of The Week and Link of The Week up for all you good people, so go check them out and enjoy.

By the way, if you are in the New York area and still haven't seen the Adventures of Caveman Robot, then you are really missing out on one fantastic show. Seriously, stop trying to share that slice of greasy pizza with that Ross from Friends cardboard cut-out and get your butt out to Brooklyn!

| 01 | 06 > A TON OF BRICKS

The last week has been rough, and as you can probably guess from the above graphic, our sweet little dog Pica has passed away. During an operation Wednesday her heart stopped, she suffered respiratory arrest and our lives were changed forever. She was sweet, funny and full of energy and loved being around you. She will be deeply missed.

I'm going to be honest here and admit that sitting here and typing this while that image of Pica is up there is starting to get to me, so I'm going to keep it short this week. The following is what is new and updated this week:

- The 4x6x365 '06 series has once again been updated, and the new batch of drawings starts here.

- The Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week have been updated as well.
