05 | 27 | 09 > HERE IT WHAT IS GOING ON

Starting things off this week, I want to thank all of you who came out to Constructor last Sunday and supported us artisans and craftspeople who exhibited at the show. I can't speak for everyone, but I had a great time and got a chance to meet a lot of cool new people.

I had my usual buttons and stickers with me, but I also had some new t-shirts for sale. If you were there and are kicking yourself for not getting one or you couldn't make it, fear not, I will soon be adding the entire line of designs that I brought to the show, right here on Nerfect.com within the next couple weeks.

If you just can't wait and know exactly what you want, please feel free to drop me a line and we'll get something worked out.

If you are new to this website, welcome and let me tell you that I update this site every week, and you can stop by every Wednesday for the latest content and Nerfect news.

One of the regular weekly features is my 4x6x365 '09 project. Since 2005 I've been drawing a picture measuring four by six inches every single day, and when I update this site weekly, I post all the new drawings. You can see the latest drawings starting with this one right here, and if you want to see more drawings, why not check out the other years' worth?

Another weekly feature is my Picture of The Week. In this feature, I show off the photographs I snap off, documenting the events of my life and travels. I don't promise any great works of photographic art, but I find it a good way to share what I've been doing and thinking about.

Finally, as far as the weekly features go, we have a Link of The Week. I tend to come across some interesting websites as I do research and I like to share them with the visitors to this website. Sure, maybe it isn't the best strategy to encourage people to leave your site, but as I consider you all my friends, I have a need to share my unique findings with you.

Well, that is all I have for you all this week. Stop by next Wednesday for more Nerfect fun. Take care.

05 | 20 | 09 > HERE BE UPDATES

Here we go again with the weekly updates. There are quite a few things to tell you all about, so I'm going to try to give them to you in short, delicious bursts. Ready? Okay. Here goes!

First, last Friday's qualifier in Coudal Partners' Layer Tennis went well and I had a great time doing it. Thanks to all the Partners for letting me play.

Second, there are a scant few days left to go see my show, Straight Out of Berwyn, at Fly Bird in Oak Park. If you can make it out before the May 24, please do so.

Third, Sunday, May 24 is the date of the second Constructor craft fair. The Nerfect crew will be out there with loads of other handy folks selling a plethora of unique items. Come out to Berwyn's Fitzgerald's and check it out.

Fourth, I have added more drawings to my 4x6x365 '09 series. Yes, the secret ceremony has been performed and the newest drawings have been posted for your approval. Witness them from the first of the new set.

Fifth, I've also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. I hope you enjoy them.

Sixth, that is all I have for you all. See you next Wednesday. So long.

| 13 | 09 > WEDNESDAY THE 13TH: UPDATES REVENGE

Attention world, I'm a bit stumped about how to open this week's update report. I tried a few different approaches and I discovered nothing truly great was coming out of me. I came off sounding a lot like Andy Ronney, so I decided that I should just move on.

We start this week with my 4x6x365 '09 project. You can see the latest drawings starting with the first of the new batch.

I've also put up a new Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Take a peek when you have a free moment.

Straight Out of Berwyn, my latest art show, is still up at Fly Bird in Oak Park, so if for some odd reason you haven't seen it yet, you need to get over there and check it out. The last official day of the show is Sunday, May 24, which is also when I'll be at Constructor 2, so don't forget that either.

Finally, I just want to mention that I'll be displaying my mad skills in a qualifying round of Coudal Partners' Layer Tennis this Friday, so keep you fingers crossed for me folks. I'm looking forward to it, but with fifteen minute volleys, the pressure is indeed on.

Well, that is it for this time around. See you next week.

| 06 | 09 > A CONFESSION AND UPDATES

Right off the top this week I have to admit something. It is something that I'm not proud of, and that I should get professional help with. I can not get enough of The Trashmen's "Surfin' Bird."

It started a couple days ago when I heard a small part of it, and it got under my skin, and since then, I've been getting a taste here and there when I can. I can't stop thinking about it and at my lowest point, I found myself in Borders desperately looking for a "Best of" or "Wacky Songs" album to satisfy my sick urges. In the end, I ran out of that poorly-stocked music section and didn't look back.

You know, I feel a lot better now that I have that off my chest. Now let's talk about the updates and get on with our lives.

I've been able to crack a new batch of drawings for my 4x6x365 '09 series. I invite you to go have a peek. Why not start with the first of the latest group? No? Suit yourself, try starting with the last of the batch and move your way backward if you so like. We're casual around here.

I have also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. It is almost unbelievable isn't it?

Before I sign off, I would like to remind you all that my show at Fly Bird, Straight Out of Berwyn is still hanging and there are many nice pieces still available. If you're in the neighborhood, make a point to stop in and check the show out. It will officially be up until Sunday, May 24.

Now Sunday, May 24 sounds familiar for some reason. Oh yeah, that is the date of Constructor 2, which yours truly will be at, doing my thing. If you're looking for something cool to do Memorial Day weekend, why not have brunch at Wishbone and check out the fun at Constructor 2 at Berwyn's own Fitzgerald's?

Well, that is all I have for you this time around. Have a splendid rest of the weekend.
