06|27|05 SPOILERS AHEAD! SPOLERS AHEAD!
Seriously, if you do not want to know what has been updated here on the ol' Nerfect website, then you should shut your eyes and click away at random I guess. Maybe you'll come across the new stuff.
As for the rest of you, here is the lowdown. Yes, there are more drawings in the 4x6x365 gallery. I've also updated the PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK. Woo-wee! What content!
06|20|05 PREORDER THE NEW CAVEMAN ROBOT COMICS, TODAY!
Regular visitors to this site will know that I've been hard at work on the two new Caveman Robot comics which will make their debut at the San Diego Comic Con (July 14-17.) Well, they are available for preorder at the official Caveman Robot site. Reserve your copies today!
06|20|05 WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO DO WITH ALL THESE THINGS?
How time slips away. I just hit the 170 mark with my 4x6x365 project, which means that two-hundred is just around the corner. The stack of drawings is becoming a considerable thing indeed, and it has got me thinking about what am I going to do with them when I'm done. Should I auction them off? Should I build some sort of cabinet to house them? Should I put together a public showing of them? Should I put out a book? If you have an opinion on the subject, please drop me a line.
The whole project has turned out a lot better than I planned, and I am really pleased with some of the work that has been coming out of the project. I just wish I could get the word out about it more, because I find that people are really enjoying the work, and new visitors wuld probably dig it too. Now, I'm not begging, but if you can help spread the word about the project and this site, I'd really appreciate it.
Aside from updating the 4x6x365 gallery, I've also done the ol' update thing with the PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK, so check them out and enjoy!.
06|14|05 WHAT? THE UNIVERSE ISN'T JUST THE FEW FEET BETWEEN ME AND THE MONITOR?
I feel like a thousand ton weight has been lifted off me. The project I've been toiling away on, and that has kept me pretty busy and up late, is off to the printer! Hooray! Of course I'm talking about the next two Caveman Robot books... Two? Yes, two hot new comic books to be out soon, and that will make their debut at the comic con out in San Diego in mid July. More details are to come.
Anyway, I won't bug you all with the gorey details of the last few days, as I tried to get this thing all together and out to the printer in enough time for them to print them, but you can get a clue of my frazzled state during that time by reviewing the latest batch of 4x6x365 drawings. I really want to thank the rest of the Cavey crew for doing everything they could to get everything together. Joe Irfunari's artwork for our first, full-color Caveman Robot comic is eye-poppingly good, and considering the time crunch at the end, he really pulled through. Also mad props go out to Jason Robert Bell who is an awesome artist, friend, supporter, and project leader in all of this. Jason, you should be very proud of all we accomplished on these books. They kick butt.
I'd also like to thank all those others who kicked it into high gear, bent over backwards, and helped me and the whole project out. When Joe finally sent that last page, it was Brian Trost who downloaded it, and personally transported it to me because my home connection is lousy. Thanks Mr. Trost! I also can't forget Mrs. Walters, who helped me proof all the pages, caught ridiculous boo-boos, and helped me cut some of the fat. Mrs. Walters you are awesometastic to infinity! Lastly, I've got to thank Eugene at the Kinko's at 111 E. Wacker who saved my rump yesterday! I may never go back to a Kinko's, but Eugene you are so boss!
Wow, look at all those words! Look at what has happened to me now that the weight is off my chest! My life can now return to normal... Well, kind of normal.
If there is something normal, or regular about this site, it is that each week you can count on a new PICTURE OF THE WEEK and LINK OF THE WEEK, and this week is no different.
Finally, I'd like to congratulate my younger brother, Mr. Walters, on getting married at the end of this week. There really wasn't much of a warning, but I am happy for him and the future Mrs. Walters. Good luck you two!
06|06|05 ALMOST AT THE FINISH LINE
If there is a patterm to my life in the last couple weeks it has been that I'm either sick or tired, and every week when those handful of you visitors show up, you have to read about it. Okay, more likely, you show up and I'm apologizing for being less than awesometastic here in my update posts. Let's face it, if you wanted to read about someone being tired, and who feel guilty about not updating their site with more meaningful content, you'd be reading some blog written by a guy who works in the accounts department. I know why you're here, and it is not for this, so let's get on with it.
Savory updated content:
1. 4x6x365 project - Seven new drawings... Totally fresh!
2. PICTURE OF THE WEEK - The "other" kind of "picture"... Quotelicious!
3. LINK OF THE WEEK - Why would you need to go anywhere else online than here?... Free with fill-up!
