06 | 26 | 06 > YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF TO UPDATE

This past weekend we went out a couple nights in a row with friends, and even though I didn't drink, I feel a little hung over now. I don't regret going out, I had a blast and a half, but I totally feel beat up. The end result is that I didn't much done that I needed to this weekend and will be playing catch up over the next couple days.

A lot of the projects have something to do with the comic show out in San Diego that I'll be at and my new book which is on its way to me from the printers in North Dakota. A few other bits and pieces that I ordered for these endeavors have arrived, and I am getting a bit antsy to tie everything up and get out there. I will share more details about the project when more of it is together.

To be honest with you all, as I write this I am a bit zonked and I'm having trouble focusing. If time permited, I would take a nap and come back to this, but Mr. Walters has to get stuff done. With that in mind, here are some brief notes about what has been updated this week.

My 4x6x365 '06 project keeps growing and we are closing in on the two-hundred drawing mark. The latest group of drawings starts here.

I've also taken care of the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so go check them out.

See you next week. Farewell friends.

| 19 | 06 > THE PROOFS ARE IN THE PUDDING

Since last time, I have uploaded the pages of my comic to the printer in North Dakota, gotten proofs back and have approved production. Yes, ladies and germs, the comic is on it's way and I should have copies in my paws in the next couple weeks. I'm pretty excited about it again.

Unfortunately, now I have to begin to pick up some of the slack at home. Projects have gone undone and my studio is a complete mess. There are refrence books, scraps of paper, stacks of CDs and nubs of former erasers everywhere... I can't wait to start the next book!

Before I do anything, I need to update this, my website. As always, I start with my 4x6x365 '06 series. With my life somewhat back to normal, I think the daily drawings tend to reflect my usual state of goofiness. That is not to say the week was without the occassional unfortunate incident, but this week's drawings tend to fall back into my standard patterns. The drawings I scrawled last week begin here.

I've also brought in a fresh Picture of The Week and a juicy Link of The Week for you viewing pleasure. I now invite you to please share the magic.

| 11 | 06 > ROUNDING THE FINAL BEND

As I write this, I have begun to prepare the final files of my comic book. Within twenty-four hours they will be sned to my printer, and then printy magic! The great stone yoke that I've been wearing for the last few months will be removed, and I can relax a little. Granted, I still have some work to do before comic con, but the yoke is considerably smaller.

It is kind of amazing that I was able to do any 4x6x365 '06 drawings this week, but I managed to keep squeezing them in. Please feel to review the latest bach from last Monday's drawing.

As always, I've also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week.

Well, I've got some more stuff on the comic, so I better sign off. Have a good week people.

| 05 | 06 > WEÓVE GOT TO TALKÉ OH, AND UPDATE A LITTLE

Let's be honest with ourselves here. Yes, here in the news and updates section of my website. If this can't be an open forum for one-sided dialogue and truth, then I don't know what would be. Anyway, what I'm trying to get to here is that I've been a real sad sack lately, and you all deserve a lot more from me, Mr. Walters. For this I am sorry, and I am totally dedicated to making the best of this relationship.

If you've been visiting this site and reading these update texts, you know that I've been working hard... Maybe a little too hard. Throw in a few personal problems here and there and the end result was that I've really been beating myself up lately, and baby, I know I haven't been all that pleasant to be around. By the way, do you mind me calling you "baby?" I can never really tell if you like that or not. Anyway, I just want to apologize to the visitors to this site and anyone whom I've talking to on the phone, hung out with, e-mailed, telegraphed, or been in telepathic communication with. You don't deserve to be dumped on because I feel lousy.

With that said, I'd like for us to move on and get back to what makes our relationship here steamy hot, weekly website updates. I'm in good spirits, there is a smile on my face, and I've stopped listening to sad country songs and moved to an exclusive diet of savory funk, so let's get updating, baby.

Because I draw them on a daily basis, my 4x6x365 '06 drawings tend to reflect the mood I've been in, and lately, well, they really have definitely shown the weird state that I've been in. This week, I made a serious, conscious attempt to distance the drawings from my current emotional state. Now, I'm sure there a lot of you out there who are going to question this action, but let me tell you, there are only so many self-debasing self-portraits that you can draw of yourself in a week. Sometimes you just want to get back to what made you famous in Belgium, crudely drawn people with bad haircuts. This week's batch starts with a gem from Monday.

Finally, before I sign off to ride a tandem bicycle with Claudine Longet and eat a candy sandwich, I'd like to draw your attention to the latest Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. I like to think of them as the sprinkles on the sundae that are the Nerfect weekly updates. You might think of them as something else, but I respect that. We are all entitled to our own opinions. Thank you for your time, gorgeous. Have a great week.
