06 | 27 | 07 SORRY, BUT I'M JUST TOO EXHAUSTED

Between work and the many other projects I've taken on lately, I'm wiped out! Yes, that is an exclamation mark, I'm just that tired. Anyway, I don't mean to be rude, but you all know the drill:

4x6x365 '07 is updated, and here is the first of the newest series.

Picture of The Week and Link of The Week are also updated, so go check them out.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to get a couple hours of sleep before I have to go back to work.

| 20 | 07 YOU ONLY UPDATE TWICE

Have you ever been in the middle of something, say updating your scrumptious website, when you are overcome with the urge to don a pretty bad-ass metal skull ring you bought at the drugstore? Well, I have just experienced this feeling, and when I went to go find said bad-ass ring, I couldn't remember where I squirreled it away. It is really an annoying sensation.

For a few moments, I toyed around with the idea of slipping on a plastic Green Lantern ring a friend gave me at comic con last year, but alas, it just isn't the same thing. I guess the best thing to do right now is to tell you all about the things I've updated on this website this week.

First off, like usual, I've added to my expanding daily drawing collection, 4x6x365 '07. Don't believe me? Check out the latest set of drawings starting with this one.

I've also updated the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week, so go check them out. If you don't, well, I might just mope around for a while. You don't want that do you?

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank my sister-in-law and brother for coming up and visiting with us this week. We had a great time, stomped around town and ate a lot of really great food. We even saw men fighting with swords as we ate. It just reminded me what the really important things in life are.

One last thing, I will be standing on the corner of Euclid and Lake in Oak Park, Illinois this Sunday (the 24th) from about noon to five as part of a "Meet The Artists" event because I painted a carousel horse for a public art event. Come on out and check the horses out, have some kind of a meal, do some shopping, and by all means, please stop by and say hello. I could really use the company.

| 13 | 07 UPDATES-A-GO-GO!

Well folks, it has been a full week since the horses (the one Mrs. Walters and I painted included) have hit the streets of Oak Park. I invite you... No, I urge you... Heck, I beg you to visit lovely Oak Park and check them out. Most of them now reside on Lake Street and Oak Park Avenue, and ours enjoys a scenic view of the intersection of Lake and Euclid. My friend Brian's cool horse is on Oak Park Avenue by the Magic Tree Bookshop.

While you're in the area get some Pad Thai at New Pot or a sandwich at Erik's Deli, stop by the fantastic Fly Bird, and by all means take a few moments out to loaf off in the park. That whole area is a lot more cozy than the stuff further down on Lake near Harlem, and I'm happy to help passers by linger there a bit longer.

If for some odd reason, you can't make it to see the horse in person, please enjoy the new pictures of our horse that I added to the It's Pony Time! feature.

My daily drawing series, 4x6x365 '07, has grown a bit more this week. Please enjoy a set of new drawings starting with this one.

Also, I have updated the Link of The Week and Picture of The Week just for you, and only you. Elsewhere online, I invite you to check out Bad Spock Drawings (which is explained here) and Ow! My Sweet Eyes!

I'm also eager to have you all check out the Diabolical Hot Dog t-shirt over at Threadless, and if that wasn't enough for you, my entire line of Nerfect t-shirts over at Bountee.com

That is it for this time around. Enjoy the new stuff, and have a Nerfect day.

| 06 | 07 > IT'S HARD TO WRITE AND LISTEN TO COUNTRY MUSIC

Yes friends, it is absolutely true. Here I am, Mr. Walters, trying my best to write this week's update text while Faron Young is playing, and folks, it is hard to do. I get on a roll, typing along and then I start focusing a bit more onto the lyrics and the sentences become a bit harder to construct. These last few have been okay, so I'll keep on hacking away here and see what I can do.

The first thing I'd like to mention is that the horse I painted for the public art exhibition, Horsing Around The Avenue, as far as I understand, should be installed this week. If I'm thinking correctly, I should be able to track down my horse and get some pictures this weekend. I will try my best to update my feature on the piece and the process behind it this upcoming weekend.

However, if you are strutting around Oak Park, Illinois in this summer, you can see it in the fl... Er... Fiberglass. I will have more specific details about how to track it down when I update the feature.

Until then, why not amuse yourself with my latest batch of daily drawings from my 4x6x365 '07 project. You can see the first picture in the latest set right here, friend.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. Speaking of the L.O.T.W., as you will discover it is a unique, group art project that you (yes, you) can participate it, so check it out and help us spread the word about it.

Before I sign off, I'd like to mention the t-shirts I have up at Bountee.com again. I meant to add more permanent links up in the apparel section of our garage sale section, but I skipped over it on my list by accident this time around. I should also mention that Threadless is starting to run out of the Diabolical Hot Dog t-shirt, so make sure to get yours before they're out again.

Well, I think this is about it for this time around. See you next week  for more Nerfectness.
