07|30|04 BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
I tend to gripe about Chicago a lot, but when you pass a statue of Bob Newhart on your way to work, it reminds you why you're still here. Check out the pictures in the PICTURE OF THE WEEK.
07|29|04 MEANWHILE IN BERWYNŠ
I know I promised that I¹d try to update before I left for the Comic Con, but last minute preparations ate up all my time. Come back next Monday, and things will be back to normal... I swear.
The convention went very well. I was out there in support of the Caveman Robot Gigantic Mega-Annual, which I have a few pieces in. As fabulous as the book is, the real thing that sold copies at the show was Caveman Robot himself. Nothing breaks the ice more than a seven-foot-tall prehistoric robot. We met all sorts of interesting folks, and it seemed that everybody loved Cavey... Especially the ladies. I can't figure out why, but women love the machine. We didn't get into too much trouble, and plan to be back in 2005, so mark those calendars.
If you¹d like to purchase a copy of the Caveman Robot Gigantic Mega-Annual, or view the constantly expanding photo gallery of shots from the show visit CavemanRobot.com.
07|19|04 SO VERY TIRED...
Why am I so tired? Because I've been super busy lately. Time is just slipping away as I try to get everything done. I won't bore you will all the details, but I just ask that those of you that come out to the San Diego International Comic Convention kind in mind that I am usually in a lot better shape. I've missed a lot of sleep and my to-do list seems so huge.
I wasn't able to get this week's COMIC OF THE WEEK ready for today, but I will try my best to get it up before heading out to the convention. If you need a Mr. Walters' comic fix, please review the dozens of past ones, or scope other comics I have on the site. Hey, why not buy some of my comics, or the brand new Caveman Robot Gigantic Mega-Annual.
I did manage to squeeze in updating the PICTURE OF THE WEEK.
07|13|04 DID I DO THAT?
Sorry to quote Steven Urkel, but I'm just too giddy! I got copies of the big Caveman Robot Gigantic Mega-Annual in the mail today and it is fantastic. 96 pages of Caveman Robot fun and comics, with a couple by yours truly. It is a super-insane bargain at $4 (plus two for shipping), so order your copy today before they're all gone.
07|12|04 IT IS SO GOOD TO BE REGULAR AGAIN
Well, I've finally gotten back into the swing of things. Yes, it is Monday, and the weekly updates have been made. Huzzah! Sure, I'm still juggling a dozen things at once, but I feel so much better now that the updates have returned to normal. Please enjoy the COMIC OF THE WEEK and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. They're update-a-licious!
07|08|04 GET YOUR STINKY PAWS OFF ME YOU DAMN, DIRTY UPDATES!
You regular visitors out there (Yes, the four of you) are probably wondering what lame excuse I'm going to give for my horrible lapse in my weekly update schedule. Well folks, even though I've been busy and still dealing with my dang knee, there isn't any real reason I shouldn't have been able to drop the mad updates around here like usual. Now that things have settled a bit and I can sit in a chair, I will try my best to insure that this sort of thing never happens again.
The wait is over, check out this week's COMIC OF THE WEEK and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. I'm still planning to start a comic series (or a series of series) that will take the place of the COMIC OF THE WEEK and hopefully after the San Diego International Comic Convention that will become a reality.
