07 | 25 | 12 > WORDS BE HERE

Hello folks and welcome back to Nerfect.com. I was recently told that arriving to this site can be overwhelming because of all the reading right off the bat. I guess I can understand that, so try to stay with me here and I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.

First off this week, I'd like to thank all you fine folks whom came out to the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival and bought things from the great local artisans vending there this past weekend. I'd also like to thank the organizers of the festival, Urban Folk Circuit for putting together the area I was in, all the other great vendors, and so on and so on. We had a nice time and made a lot of new friends.

Moving on, I'm happy to announce that I've posted seven new drawings into my 4x6x366/12 collection. Every day I craft a nice little drawing, and then once a week, I post the latest drawings. You can see the latest pieces, beginning with this one here.

I have also posted a new Picture of The Week. During my adventures, I snap the odd picture of two for documentation, and during these weekly updates, I pick one to share with the world.

See, that wasn't so bad. See you next week.

| 18 | 12 > ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS

Hello, and welcome to Nerfect.com, the official website of gentleman artist and amusing biped, Mr. Walters. Every week I update this website with new content and news in regards to future shows and projects I'm involved with.

If you are one of the folks that I met at the Pitchfork Music Festival, where I was selling my wares at the Coterie show, I'd like to extend a very special welcome and invite you to take a good look around Nerfect.com.  It was a bit more filled with rain than I would've liked, but I think we made the best of it.

Coming up this weekend, I will again be vending Nerfect art objects, but this time at the Threadless Make Great Market at the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival. This art market is organized by Urban Folk Circuit and is located near the intersection of Milwaukee and Belden.

By the way, on a somewhat related note, because of how busy it is this time of year and the fluctuating availability of certain items during summer shows, it is always a good idea to drop us a line to double check stock availability before ordering anything from the Nerfect Garage Sale.

Moving along, we come to this week's new content additions to the ol' website. This week, I'm happy to announce that once again, I have been able to keep up with my 4x6x366/12 project. Every day I draw a new picture and once a week I post the results. It was kind of rough this time around, but I was able to add seven new pieces for you all to enjoy. You may check the newest pieces out, beginning with this piece.

I also take a fair number of pictures, documenting my adventures and inspirations as I go through life, and every week, I post one of these photographs. This feature is called the Picture of The Week and you may have a look at this week's image here.

Well, that is all for now, friends. Make sure to drop by next week for more Nerfectness.

| 11 | 12 > I'M TRYING MY BEST NOT TO FREAK OUT

There is a lot going on in the house of Walters these days, and my schedule is pretty well booked for the next few weeks. There are quite a few tasks that need to be completed and obligations that I need to fulfill, but I have to keep reminding myself not to get too worked up, keep moving, and most importantly, not to freak out. Why am I telling you all this? I'm not really sure. I think it is more for me, yet another reminder to relax and keep focused.

As I type this, the Coterie show at the Pitchfork Music Festival is just a hop, skip and jump away, chronologically speaking. I'll be vending Nerfect wares there Friday through Sunday, so if you're at the festival, please do come by to say howdy and to see all the great Nerfect items for sale.

If you're not able to attend the show, you may still have a look at a good selection of Nerfect wares over on my Etsy shop. I've been tidying up and updating it over the last couple weeks, and have been plugging it left and right all over the joint.

Offline, I will next be selling fine Nerfect products at the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival next weekend. It seems like it should be a pretty fun show, so please make sure to add it to your calendar.

Now onto the updates I've made to this website, we start with 4x6x366/12, my daily drawing series. Every day of the year I draw something, and then I post the results weekly. You can see this week's efforts starting here.

I have also posted a new Picture of The Week. I tend to document a lot of stuff photographically in my journeys, and every week I share one of these pictures.

Finally, before signing off, I'd like to point out that I've added a few new Nerfections up there in the upper right corner. If you are a user of Instagram, Mlkshk or Pinterest, their icons up there will lead you to my goofings around on these various things.

Well, that is it for the website updates this week. Thanks for dropping by. I really appreciate it.

| 04 | 12 > HAPPY UPDATES OF JULY

I was going to open with something about the significance of this day in American history, but the funny thing about me is that in these types of situations I can either come of really sarcastic and or way too corny and patriotic. The truth is, I enjoy the freedoms I have living in this country, but also very aware in the many areas which we, as an great cultural experiment fail time and time again. Again, at the end of the day, I have every right to say and do pretty much anything I want to. I hope you all keep this in mind today.

Moving along, I'd like to report, that we attended the launch of 22's retail offering. They've done a great job collecting the wares of many talented artists, myself included. If you're in the Berwyn, Illinois area, make sure to go check this interesting new art space out.

Speaking of selling things, that is exactly what Mrs. Walters and I will be doing at the upcoming Pitchfork Music Festival. Once again, we will be selling Nerfect wares at the Coterie show, a collection of skilled artisans, that happens during the three-day festival from July 13 to 15. If you're going to Pitchfork, make sure to drop by and say hello.

Finally, one last bit of salesmanship, pardon me. Anyway, I have been slowly cleaning up and adding to my Etsy shop. It is a sadly neglected arm of the Nerfect social and economic enterprise. If you're in the market for some original Mr. Walters' artwork, this is the place to go.

Speaking of original artwork, once again, I have added to my 4x6x366/12 series of drawings. I invite you all to have a good look at the seven new pieces beginning with this one here.

I have also put up a new Picture of The Week. If you like your images "less drawn" and more of a photographed nature, you might enjoy this feature.

Well, that is it for this time around. Thanks for dropping by, and I'd like to remind you all that if you know of someone who might enjoy this site or my work, please tell them about Nerfect.com. I really appreciate they help spreading the word. Thanks again. See you next time.
