08|30|04 HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?

Mr. Walters had a good weekend. Bought some slacks, a new pair of Chucks, went to a barbeque, was trusted to hold a baby, caught a few episodes of the Addams Family, welcomed Mrs. Walters back from Spain, and wrote about myself in the third person for a little bit. I also updated the site with a new COMIC OF THE WEEK and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. All and all, not too bad.

08|18|04 I'M AN ANALOG HILLBILLY IN A DIGITAL SASQUATCH WORLD

I need your help all you folks out there in internet land (a.k.a. the people's republic of internetvania.) I'm looking for a portable mp3 player that works with Mac OS 9.2. I was trying to be a nice guy, and wanted to pick up an iPod for my wife who is a super gal and who is flying to Spain this weekend., but discovered that pretty much every mp3 player on the market these days that works with the Mac, only does so with OS 10. After going to several places physically and online, I've about had it. I find it hard to believe that no one is sitting on a few unsold, original iPods somewhere, and wouldn't mind trading them for real money. Anyway, if anyone out there can help me out, I will be dangerously appreciative. Maybe there is a wacky painting in it for a helpful imp out there... Wink wink! If you can help, please contact me. 'Ello, What is all this then? Why am I doing the weekly updates here on Friday rather than next Monday? Is it madness? Am I touched in the head?

Mr. Walters has a lot of monkey business to attend to over the next few days, but wanted to make sure the updates got done before he got to deep into his nutty schemes and activities. So, please enjoy the newest COMIC OF THE WEEK and PICTURE OF THE WEEK.

I've also taken the time to do a little reorganizing in the archives of the COMIC OF THE WEEK and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. You can now browse the backed-up material by year. Check out comics from 2002, 2003 and 2004. You can also view pictures from 2002, 2003 and 2004. I have a few more thoughts about making the archives run a bit tighter and will keep you posted when changes occur.

08|06|04 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE ONE THING I'D NEVER THOUGHT I'D ASK...

Do you know where I can get a good mousepad? I know it is an odd question, but I'd like to replace the one I have at my new gig. Sure, I could go to an office supply place and pick up one for almost nothing, but if I have to use one, I'd like it to be funky, or at least ironic. The CSA Archive used to have a great one that was a piece of meat, but that was ages ago. A cool mouse pad seems like something I should be able to find online, but I've tried. If you know of a source for strange mouse pads drop me a line.
