08|29|05 LIFE IS NOTHING IF YOU AREN'T OBSESSED
Wow! I can't believe I did all that I did this week. Busy is not the word for it. The thing is (like usual) I look at my "to-do" lists and it seems like I hardly made a dent in them. Looking deeper into the matter it seems I cover quite a few of the biggest jobs. Anyway, let's get on with it.
I'm happy to say that my toys have gotten a warm reaction. When you put up a site (especially one that gives stuff away for free) you very rarely get any feedback to anything you put up. It's a cryin' shame. Anyway, back to the toys from the Nerfect Toy Box. Well, you'll be happy that I added a few new ones to the Toy Box, and as promised last week, I have put many of them up for sale. You Mr. Walters' fans (all two or three of you) out there should go check them out. It is your chance to own an original Mr. Walters' piece of artwork.
While I'm plugging my wares, you've probably seen the image up there at the top. What is going on? Well, I just got in some super-boss, die cut stickers featuring our electrified mascot, Berwyn Bunny. They are totally awesome, and totally for sale! Go check it out!
Along with all these fine products I also took the time to whip the Garage Sale section back into shape. It has probably been a while, you should take a look at it... Oh yes and buy something. Hey, I have to try don'y I? At least I'm honest.
Well, enough with the thinly-veiled sales pitches. Here comes a blunt one. Buy something kid! No, just kidding. There is no pressure here, but let me just ask you one thing. What is it going to take to get you into a new, fine-quality, top-of-the-line Nerfect product? How about we move onto more updates?
If all this excitement wasn't enough, I have updated my 4x6x365 project. Seven all new drawings (which I do every single day) are up for your personal review starting with the first of the new batch.
I've also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. If you've got the time (between pretending to work and ordered some of Nerfect'c fine wares) you should check these regular features out. You might learn something. Knowing is half the battle you know.
Well, I've got to run... Well, in all honesty, I'm going to bed. Later skaters!
08|22|05 WELCOME TO HERE
I feel like I have been working non-stop for weeks now. Now that I think about it, I think I rested a little during lunch at my desk sometime last week. Anyway, I'm pretty wiped as I post this as I have spent the last few hours wrestling with the software I create this site with. It has been acting a bit odd as of late.
Wait a minute! You don't want to hear about that. You want to know what has been updated, and you're probably wondering what is up with those strange creatures up at the top there. Well, those are some of my toys and I've just added the Nerfect Toy Box, a gallery of some of the toys that I've crafted over the years. Lately, I've been making a few of them here and there, and I just wanted to show them off. Actually, with any luck, I will probably have some up for sale next week.
I've also updated the 4x6x365 gallery. Hey, I got an idea, why not take a look at the first of this week's batch? I knew you would like that idea.
Finally, I have also brought the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week up-to-date with some hot-and-tangy updates just like you've come to expect from your pals at Nerfect.
Now,if you'll excuse me, I have to try to get a couple hours sleep.
08|15|05 FOR LACK OF AN INTERESTING HEADLINE MAY I JUST SAY "TRICK SAUSAGE?"
If you stopped me on the street today and asked for a white hot, totally with it headline I'd probably just stare at you blankly, blink a few times, and try to distract you by saying that there is a rabid racoon behine you and run off. The headlines I usually don't have problems with, it is this part, so I apologize.
Besides my charming wit, you are probably here for the weekly updates. Yes, I know you too well my little capybara. Anyway, here is what I've updated:
Once again, I have added another week's worth of 4x6x365 drawings to their respective gallery. They're a good lot if I may say so. I do recognize the colors run a bit much on the pinkish side. Don't believe me? Check out the first of this week's batch.
I've also followed my usual m.o. and updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. I hope all these new things and such bring you truckloads of joy. Talk at you all later.
08|11|05 MORE ARTWORK ADDED TO RECENT PAINTINGS GALLERY
I've added pictures of some recent artwork to the RECENT PAINTINGS gallery. One of which is a CAVEMAN ROBOT CIRCUS PUNK for the 100 Circus Punks Rule NYC show... Check it out here. The other is a a piece created on a salvaged piece of foamcore called LONGNECK.
08|08|05 THE NERFECT BUTTON SHOP IS NOW OPEN!
For those of you who wondered what was going on behind the dropcloths in back, we proudly present the Nerfect Button Shop. If you're a fan of one inch wide buttons then you need to go check this out!
08|08|05 HOORAY! WE'VE ENTERED THE LATE 20TH CENTURY! DANG! I CAN'T UPDATE MY SITE!
Well we finally did it. We upgraded the lairs internet connection and boy are things super-zippy! I know what you are thinking, how could such a global player such as Nerfect Worldwide be so far behind in the area of internets uber-connectivity? I wish I had a simple answer, but the move to the swiftier connection was so bogged down in such legal mumbo jumbo that there is very little I can say about it. Some of the more prominent words in this legal document the lemurs down in the legal department just handed me included such gems as "1998 lawsuit", "citizen of Albania", "international incident", and "Art Carney."
Anyway, we are up and running at a slightly faster rate. Does this mean a flashier Nerfect.com to come with all sorts of new-fangled multiple media? We're not sure right now, but at least we can download movies of Tommy Seebach like no one's buisness. Did you just hear that collective sigh of relief?
One unforseen problem involved with the move from our old Kreblink 550 to our new Kreblink 10,000 internet connection was that the software used to generate this website couldn't upload this week's updates as it usually does. We were in serious "lemur fudge" if we couldn't get these files updated, but thankfully a gentleman down in our computer department, known simply as "Grey-Beard the Wise" jury-rigged a few things with some common household ingredients so we could udpate the site this week... Huzzah! Thank you Grey-Beard! May you live many years and have many savory meals!
Talking... er... typing about updates, here is a list of the freshest additions to the internet's most def website:
1. A week's worth of drawings on 4" x 6" pieces of paper have been added to the 4x6x365 project. How cool is that? Click here to check out the first of the latest batch, yo.
2. Mr. Walters risked life and limb to bring you the latest PICTURE OF THE WEEK. Okay, that isn't exactly all true, but it makes you curious to see the picture don't it?
3. After much deliberation we have realized we have no "funny" way to set up the newst LINK OF THE WEEK, so this is all we're going to say about it.
4. Make sure to review one of our latest products, the GEORGE W. BUSH COMMENT STICKERS.
Well, that is about it for now. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nerfect day!
08|01|05 WE'RE HAPPY TO OFFER YOU EMPLOYEE DISCOUNTS
Yes, that is right folks. The very same discounts our employees get on weekly updates are being extended to all our customers. Take advantage of them now because these hot updates at these great prices will not be available forever! These '05 updates have got to go!
Just take a look the stylish and popular 4x6x365 drawings. Every day I draw something on a 4" x 6" card, with the goal of having 365 of them at the end of the year. Take them for a test drive and you will see why they are the people's choice.
