09 | 26 | 07 ARE YOU HAVIN' AN UPDATE? ARE YOU HAVIN' AN UPDATE?

Where does the time go? I thought that most cliche of thoughts today as I walked around in a short-sleeved shirt, and realized that the sunny days of summer are officially over and soon the bitter cold will stick it's icy grip on me for a few months. Time does pass, and things do change. Life wouldn't be as interesting if the world was static and uniform, even if it were perpetually pleasant. Time must pass. Things must change.

All this thinking about time reminded me of something. I did the math the other day and we are really close to seeing daily drawing one thousand. This upcoming Thursday I will sit down and scrawl my way to this milestone. What started out as an exercise to keep my artistic skills together has turned into something else. When I look through the archived drawings I've done over these past three years, I am very pleased with myself, and eager to translate many of the ideas into other projects. Heck, just the idea that in a few days, I will have done a thousand of these drawings tickles me to no end.

Now speaking of these daily drawings, I have posted the last set of 4x6x365 '07 pieces before we hit the big one thousand. I invite you to review them starting with this drawing of a frog.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so please go check them out if you like. I haven't been really counting the entries in these two features, but I assume those are starting to pile up, too.

Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention this in the last update, but the horse auction went well. The horse we painted has a new home and we raised a few bucks for the local humane society. I had gotten pretty sick earlier the day of the auction, so I missed attending it and meeting the new owners of the horse.

Well, that is it for now. I hope the rest of the week goes well for you. Keep it cool and Nerfect ya'll. Later skaters.

| 19 | 07 HELLO LADIES AND GERMS

This past weekend, I tussled around a bit with illness. I managed to break free of its grip, but am still pretty rough around the edges, so I'm going to keep this brief.

The 4x6x365 '07 project has been updated. The first of the new drawings is here.

Link of The Week and Picture of The Week have also been updated, so check them out, too.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go take it easy for a few minutes. Enjoy this week's updates, and keep it Nerfect ya'll.

| 12 | 07 ONE LAST PLEA TO COME OUT FOR THE HORSE AUCTION

How many more posts am I going to do regarding the auction of the horses (one of which we painted) for a public art display in Oak Park? Just this last one, I swear. Sunday, September 16 is just around the corner, and these horses need good homes. If you're in the Chicago area this Sunday and want to help us raise money for the Animal Care League then come on out. The specific details, are in the last couple posts.

Aside from this last plug for the auction, we are here of course for the weekly updates. We are aren't we? Anyway, starting off, are the new additions to my 4x6x365 '07 drawing series. I've updated the collection and you can give a good browsing to the latest assortment starting with this nice drawing.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so please do visit those features as well. Well, that is pretty much it, so I'll be signing off. Smell ya later.

| 05 | 07 MORE DETAILS ON THE HORSE AUCTION

I just got some more details about the horse auction on Sunday, September 16. The auction will be held at 129 N. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park, Illinois, and it will start at 2pm. All the horses will be there for one last inspection and wine and food will be served from 1 to 2pm. Again, this auction will benefit the Animal Care League, and I'd really love to get as many interested folks out there as possible. Mark your calendars and come on out.

| 05 | 07 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOUR DAY WORK WEEKS

With time off because of Labor Day, I am enjoying the idea of a four day work week. I've hardly dipped my toes back into work and it is Wednesday all ready. It's a pretty good set up. One day, if I can swing it working for myself, all I am going to work is four day weeks. Anyway, that is a possible future. Let's talk about the real now.

I got the details on the big auction for the horses (one of which Mrs. Walters and I painted) in Oak Park, Illinois. If you'd like the ultimate Nerfect collectable and want to help out the Animal Care League, come to 100 block of North Oak Park Avenue on Sunday, September 16 from 2 to 4pm and get in on the auction action. It's for a good cause and imagine how cool it would be to have a carousel horse with my silly characters all over it in your home.

Aside from that, I have another sweet set of daily drawings in my 4x6x365 '07 series to share with you. If you want to review this new collection, why not start with this one I did last Wednesday? Seriously, why not?

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so please make sure to check those out, too. Well, that's all for now. See you next time.
