10 | 31 | 07 > HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
It probably won't come as any surprise, but I must admit that this is my favorite holiday. I just love the monsters, candy, costumes, fun, and the honesty of the whole thing. Halloween is exactly what it appears to be. Sure, the traditions that go with it have ancient origins that some folks might now be completely comfortable, but at least it isn't just the front for a massive, constant sales pitch like a certain birthday observation coming up.
Mrs. Walters and I hosted our annual Halloween gathering and jam-session. It went well and all our efforts seemed to be well-received. It was nice to take a small break from all the things that have been piling up on my to-do list and have a bit of fun with our friends.
I've been running myself pretty ragged this last few weeks, and I can't even imagine an end to all I have to take care of between my day and night jobs. I just have to keep soldiering on, and hope that the gaskets don't snap open. With that said, maybe we should get to the business at hand... The weekly updates.
Starting off, I have a set of new drawings that I'm put into my 4x6x365 '07 project. The trained-eye might be able to spot the exhaustion in my technique this week. I invite you to bear witness to the new batch, starting with this fine example of my craft.
I've also stayed awake long enough to update the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so make sure you check them out.
Well, I'm beginning to drop out every other sentence, so I better polish this off and get moving on to other things. Take care of yourself and stay Nerfect, kittens.
10 | 24 | 07 > GIVING YOU THE BOOT AND UPDATES
No, I'm not giving you all the heave ho, I'm just trying to be a bit clever about how I lead into this week's first item. Of course, "clever" has never really been one of my natural styles of delivery. Now, "awkward" is something I can handle like a pro.
Recently I submitted some boot designs to this online competition that Dr. Martens has put together. I invite... No, beg you all to pretty, pretty please go check them out (1, 2, 3) and vote what you like for them. If enough kids dig them, you might see them on store shelves.
Moving on, I've kept up pretty well with my daily drawing project, 4x6x365 '07 projects. You can peep the latest scrawlings, starting with the first of the new ones here. By the way, if you're looking for Halloween costume ideas, there might be something in there that might work for you.
I've also updated the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week, so go wash your hands and check them out.
Well, that's it for now. Take care and stay Nerfect.
10 | 17 | 07 > I'M A MAN OF CONSTANT UPDATING
As you can probably tell from the above image, we have some new buttons in stock. While restocking our dwindling supplies, I took the opportunity to put a few new designs into production, as well as new versions of old classics. As fall brings back the brisk weather, you'll probably be out and about in a jacket or coat, and what looks good on one of those garments? That's right, buttons, so go check out our full compliment of them.
There are also new 4x6x365 drawings up for your viewing pleasure. Check out the newest collection starting right here.
I've also managed to update the Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week. Both are fine features and open for your examination.
That is it for this go around, so I'll be seeing you around. Take care.
10 | 10 | 07 > SUCKER UPDATERS CALL ME SIRE
How do you follow up an entry about the one-thousandth daily drawing? What could beat that? It seems odd to come back this week without some major achievement to talk about, but here we are. Right here.
The daily drawings in my 4x6x365 '07 series continue. I've updated the gallery and you can start your review of this new batch right here.
I've also updated my Picture of The Week and Link of The Week features, so rejoice and rock out! Hip hip hooray!
Well, until next time, take it easy.
10 | 03 | 07 > 4 X 6 X 365 X1000!
Well, as I mentioned last week, over the last three years, I've been doing a drawing every day, and this past Thursday, I did my one-thousandth drawing. It's an odd thing for me to think of. How could I have personally made one thousand of anything?
After I typed that equation, a play on the series name, for this week's headline I just had to do the math. Together, one thousand 4" x 6" cards measures a whopping twenty-four thousand square inches, or two-thousand square feet! It would be interesting to see all of them together, but that might take some doing.
Until then, you can see them all here on Nerfect.com, starting with the first one back in aught five. If you don't have a few hours to spend on such a proposition, may I suggest that you just check out this week's additions starting with the quaint nine-hundred-and-ninety-ninth.
You may also want to check out the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Both nice features and worthy of a few scant moments of your attention.
Well, that is about all I can think of this time around. Until next time, stay Nerfect.
