10 | 28 | 09 > UPDATING MAKES ME FEEL GOOD

Halloween is just around the corner. Heck, it's closer than that, it's just down the block. I look forward to Halloween and all the things that come with it. It is a pretty fun and honest time of year, and for that I totally respect it. Yes, bring it on!

It is a bit hard to go through the days leading up to Halloween, and keep on task. Well, at least that is what I've found with myself, so before I get distracted again, let's discuss this week's updates.

First, we have the growing 4x6x365 '09 goody bag with seven new drawings added to the collection. Treat yourself to a eyeful or two starting with this number right here.

I've also hooked up a new Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so make sure to check those features out as well.

10 | 21 | 09 > THE BEST-LAID UPDATES OF MAN

Hello there friends and welcome to Nerfect.com. I've got to type softly because I've got a pretty nasty headache right now. It's one of those where it feels like someone is squeezing your eyeballs from the inside and the pain is so constant that you feel a bit nauseous. Yes, I know this is all very pleasant, so let's move on shall we?

First up is the ever-expanding 4x6x365 '09 project. I've added seven new drawings to the series, and I invite you to review them. The first of the new set is right here.

Speaking of drawings, I've started to posted samples of my doodling from my collection of Field Notes books on Flickr. Go check them out and expect more additions as the days move on.

Finally, I've updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. They are both fine, upstanding fetures and would really benefit from a visit when you have a chance.

Well, that's it. I'm going to tidy up the lair a little and head of to my hammock. See you in the no too distant future.


10 | 14 | 09 > WHO MADE ALL THESE UPDATES IN HERE

Right off the bat, I'd like to tell you that I finished my part of Fly Bird's 10in10 mural and I'm really happy with the work. It was really fun to work at a larger scale than I usually am used to, but now I think I might have mural fever. I'm really in need of another wall to paint on. I'd like to thank the fine Fly Birdians for inviting me to participate. I had a blast.

Working in a smaller scale, I continue to work on my 4x6x365 '09 project and have added seven new drawings to the collection. You can check them out starting with this drawing here.

By the way, I should mention that a character that came from my daily drawings is being translated into three-dimensions as I write this. Galbot Toys and I are collaborating to hopefully turn one of my robot characters into a toy in the future. Looking into the process in the past, I know what an expensive and time-consuming process this is and I thank Galbot Toys for choosing to go through the process with one of my doodles. I will keep you all posted as things progress with the project.

10 | 07 | 09 > COME OUT AND SEE ME FRIDAY

I'm taking part of 10in10 at Fly Bird, a live art collaboration and part of Artrageous Oak Park, which is running right now. I'm scheduled to paint my part of a group mural on the back wall of the shop this Friday. Yes, Friday, October 9 from 10am to 8pm, so come out and see me do my thing.
