Well, I just got done putting price tags on some of my wares for the next DEPART-ment show. A great event, DEPART-ment is a collective effort where numerous artists sell their crafts and products. You will always find some really cool and unique items for sale at the DEPART-ment shows. If you're trying to find that special someone and will be in Chicago December 2-4, skip the mall or bait shop and head on over to DEPART-ment!


11|28|05 WELCOME TO NERFECT... NOW GO AWAY!

I'm going to say a few things here that might make you want to leave this sight. They aren't offensive things, but announcements of hot Mr. Walters action taking place elsewhere on the internet as you read this rightnow. I just ask that you refer your options before you do anything too hasty. It's kind of like that test in school writen by jerks, where you are given a list of directions of things to do, but then the last direction is to disobey the other directions, but in this case I'm not a jerk. I just think you should plan you next steps carefully.

If you choose to leave this website, you might want to check out my Diabolical Hot Dog t-shirt design over at Threadless. It was put up last week and aparently it is selling like nuts. Check out the dwindling stock. If you want one you need to act quick or place a request for a reprint in your size.

The artwork of Mr. Walters also graces the Logokillerz page over at Peel magazine's website. Peel is a great magazine about all sorts of street art like graphitti, stencils and stickers. Being a habitual sticker maker myself, I recently found myself at their site and decided to make a contribution to it.

As this year comes to a close, so does the 4x6x365 project. Now, this is not to say that I might not continue to draw a picture per day, but rather that my original goal of 365 drawings on 4" x 6" pieces of paper done during 2005 is almost complete. This week's batch begins with this beauty.

11|21|05 UPDATING ON MY MIND AND MY MIND ON MY UPDATES

For those of you just joining us, hello and welcome to Nerfect, you're one-stop-shop for the work of Mr. Walters. There is a lot to see and enjoy on this site, so I invite you to come back frequently. You need not gorge yourself all in one sitting. You should also know that this site is updated every week.

One thing that is updated is my 4x6x365 project. Over the whole of the current year, I have been drawing a picture everyday on 4" x 6" sheets of paper and posting the reults weekly. The latest week's worth of drawings starts with this image and continues from there. The year is almost done, so if you are just joing us, you've missed a few. Why not catch up and start with the first one?

There is also a feature called the Picture of The Week. Each week I post a new picture I've taken. These are things that interest me, or things I want to remember, so not all of them are pretty, but they allow you to see how I think and allow you to tag along on my journeys and adventures.

There is also a Link of The Week. I know it is silly for me to send people away from my site, but I tend to come across stuff online every week that I like to share or think that more people should know about.

11|14|05 HEY! HEY! HEY! IT'S WEEKLY UPDATES!

This is Mr. Walters coming at you with updates and fun. If you're not careful, you may learn something before it's done, so let's get ready. Okay? Hey! Hey! Hey!

You may have notice that the image above has changed since last week. If you didn't, trust me it has. Anyway, I have put some more of my toys into the Nerfect Toy Box, and you can buy most of them if you dig them. I hate to pull out all that "holidays are coming" jazz, but they are.

We've also received a shipment of new buttons in the Nerfect Button Shop. A few are new versions and color variations of popular classics, but they are all fab if you ask me.

I've also managed to do another week's worth of drawings for my 4x6x365 project. The new batch begins right here. I invite you to check it all out.

Question - What week is complete without the newest Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week? Answer - None that I want to spend time in.

One last thing, this past week Twink released a great new album called The Broken Record. This one features remixes and mash-ups of bits and pieces of old children's records, and you can check a few tracks out on the Twink site. I highly recommend it!


11|07|05 NERFECT.COM IS UPDATED BEFORE A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE

I just ripped a hole in the heel of my sock. I was sitting here, thinking about what I should write (or rather type) and I ripped a hole in the heel of my sock. A twist of my foot, some friction from the carpet and Hole City. I am stunned, but I don't think that is why you're here. You're not here to read about my sock problems. If you are then you must count this week as some sort of jackpot.

Other than my sock difficulties, there are a few new items I need to bring up here. The first being that I have once again updated my 4x6x365 project. Yes, I keep on drawing a picture a day no matter how lousy I feel about my socks or how busy I get with my socks. It is one of my finer qualities. Let's take a look at the first of the new ones right here.

You know, now that I have this big hole in my sock I think I now realize how cold my lair really is. Let's just hope updating my site will keep my left heel warm. I know that adding the newest Picture of The Week and the Link of The Week have made me start to feel kind of toasty. Well, now that I've told you what is new, I'm off to change my socks.
