11 | 26 | 08 > THESE UPDATES ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY

It's no secret that I keep pretty busy. When I get home from a full day at work, I grab something to eat, talk a bit with Mrs. Walters, maybe watch a little television with her, and then start my second job. That is when I work on my personal work, a lot of which you see here on Nerfect.com. It's a hard schedule to keep up, it has really taken its toll on me lately, but until the personal work pays the bills, I just have keep soldiering on.

This might be a difficult thing for non-artist-types to understand. It is probably as confusing as when I encounter people who don't have a stack of projects waiting for them when they get home.

Why am I mentioning this? I'm not all that sure exactly. It could be that as I write thing at nearly one in the morning, I'm a bit wiped, or it maybe that I just wanted to share a bit of how I get things done. It is probably more that I'm tired.

Anyway, I've put up a nice selection of work this week, so let's get down to the updates, starting with a couple new paintings I did recently.

They might be smaller pieces, but they're finished. In the end, sometimes that is all that matters in these kinds of things. Go check out Blue Bird and Soda Bunny. Maybe if you're good, I'll post more paintings soon.

I've also managed to keep up with my 4x6x366 '08 project. Time is coming to a close on this series and you can see the new batch of drawings starting with this one right here.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so please help yourself to a gander at these two regular features.

I'd also like to mention that I have been adding a few sets here and there to my pictures on Flickr. There are shots of my work and from my various trips.

Finally, I'd like to thank you for visiting and for looking at my work. I hope you like what you see and will tell your friends about this site. Well, that is it for me. See you next week.

11 | 19 | 08 > A HEADLINE AND SOME UPDATES WALK INTO A BAR

Greetings, once again, from Nerfect's subterranean headquarters. I, Mr. Walters, bid you welcome. Every Wednesday, I update this site just for you. That is right. Sweet, intelligent, tasteful, adorable you!

No week would be complete without an addition to my 4x6x366 '08 series. It's a project in which I draw a new picture every single day and post the results, every week on Wednesdays. The latest batch of artistic gems starts right here, so go check them all out!

I've also updated my Picture of The Week and Link of The Week features, and I hope you really enjoy them.

Well, that is pretty much all I have for this week. See you next Wednesday. Finally, as always, keep it Nerfect, y'all!

11 | 12 | 08 > I COULD REALLY GO FOR A RC COLA RIGHT ABOUT NOW

Between miscellaneous chores at my day job today, I had to come up with a brief biography type thing for that company's website. In general, I'm pretty bad about writing about myself or my work and even more so when I need to keep a bit more serious and professional. I'm a lousy self-promoter and usually end up leaning a bit towards the silly. Why am I mentioning this?

To be honest, I'm not quite sure really. It was the first thing that came into my head as I sat down to write this, and far be it for me to stop these things when I am on a roll. Anyway, I guess I should get onto this week's updates.

First off, please note that I have once again added to my growing 4x6x366 '08 series. No matter how hard or trying a day is, I have to sit down at some time during it and scrawl out something. I have no plans to stop this practice any time soon and you can check out the latest group of drawings starting right here.

I've also updated my Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, so make sure to check those couple things out when you get the chance.

Finally, before I sign off, I should mention that both Diabolical Hot Dog and myself are now on Facebook. D.H.D. and myself have had MySpace pages for a while, and in order to keep in touch with you all have joined Facebook, too. If you use either of these things, make sure to become our computer pals so we can hip you to all the Nerfect goings on in the future.

Well, that is all for now. Later skaters.

11 | 05 | 08 > TAKE THAT DEMOCRACY!

As I write this, the election is far from decided, but I realize that by the time a lot of people read this, there will be a winner. It's an odd position to be in and I really don't want to be in a "Dewey Defeats Truman" situation, so there is only one, obvious solution. That's right, congratulate the winner in an alternate universe where the results of the election have just come in.

With that said, I'd like to tip my hat to the new president, a baby with a mustache. It has been a long and trying campaign at times, but his grace and character have really impressed a lot of voters there, in his own dimension. It is truly a historic moment in that alternate dimension's America.

By the way, I've done a drawing of the new president as part of my 4x6x366 '08 project. It's not the first in the new series, but rather the last of the group. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the new drawings.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week, true patriot that I am and all. America seems to be a bit better for my efforts I feel.

Well, that is it for now. I'll see you all next week.
