I hope you all had good holiday fun and such. Once again, I seem to have crawled from the wreckage with only a few minor cuts and bruises. Despite having to change my original travel plans and fighting off my annual struggle with viruses, I had a pretty decent holiday. Got some books to read (yay!), movies to watch (yay as well!) and various other assorted novelties (yay once more!) Hopefully, next year about this time the wife and I will have started our own u.f.o. cult and will trade fighting the crowds and being stressed out for weird rituals involving a giant statue of Karl Malden and maybe some sort of Connect Four tournament. I better get started writing the oddball cult literature now.
One great part of this past holiday season was getting to work with The Buzz Company on their holiday model. Right about now people are returning to their offices after a break to find a ready-to-assemble paper model of Hank the yeti waiting for them. I'd like to thank the gang at The Buzz Company for letting me work on such a fun project. You may insert various "street" terms of praise here folks.
I'd also like to welcome all those folks who have assembled the model, thought it was nifty and read my small credit on the back of the computer monitor Hank is sitting on. If you're wondering if I go on like this about these odd things all the time on this site, may I assure I try to limit it to the weekly updates. If you dug the model, you should check out the models of Desmond: The Nerfect Robot and the Nerfect Van. I know how slow this time of year can be in the art departments, so why not keep you hand skills fresh by assembling our other nifty paper models?
Well, I don't know about you, but the end of the year gets me thinking of the future. In the upcoming year we have an election to look forward to, and we here at Nerfect wanted to get in on the action. Sure, as a future leader of a Connect Four-playing, soda-drinking u.f.o. cult I could enter the race, but we have decided on another course of political action for the near future. It occured to us that good or bad, everyone has opinion of this George W. Bush fellow... Personally, I think he's an urban myth like spider eggs in bubble gum or one-hour photos. Whatever you think of the guy you have the right to let the word know what is on your mind. For this cause we have created George W. Bush Comment Cards. Download them, print them, fill in the comments' box, and post them up for all to see.
Now, don't get the thought that I have forgotten about continuing to update this fine website. No sir and/or madam! In the next few weeks, I will be adding new content, and as always updating thw weekly features, known on the streets as COMIC OF THE WEEK, ICON OF THE WEEK, and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. Boy howdy, the struggle to update and add to this proud website continues. Part of this most-important operation is the release of yet another free font from the folks down in the Nerfect Type Laboratories. We invite you to check out and download Discombobulated. It's not just how Mr. Walters feels all the time, it's now a rough and tumble typeface.

12|15|03 I'VE BEEN UPDATING ALL WEEK, AND BOY, MY ARMS ARE SO TIRED
As promised last week, the ol' Nerfect website has been updated quite a bit. More still lies ahead and I plan on tackling some of the more neglected sections in the upcoming weeks. For this first week of upgrades, I think we did pretty good.
The first thing that has changed is the width of pages on the site. We now have a bit more elbow room and will be reformating content to fit into the new dimensions of the site. I know this isn't pants-wetting exciting to most of you, but I just thought I'd mention it.
Second, there is a new free font for you all to download and enjoy. we invite you to check out the very mod, very cool Desmond. Mr. Walters has been working on and off on it for years, and finally got it into a state where it can be used. If you're a typophile, be sure to check this site out in the upcoming weeks because more fonts are on the way.
Thirdly, four new paintings have been added to the Recent Paintings gallery in the Other Projects section. For a while I've been wanted to do a series of paintings with the members of the loudest mimes on Earth and all-night rockers, Kiss. Dig Cat Man, The Demon, Space Ace, and Star Child.
Forthly, the Garage Sale section has been revamped and brought up to date. You'll find all sorts of wearble, drink outable, and readable Nerfect novelties there. I have also added a section of services that I am now offering to the public for rock-bottom prices. If you've ever wanted an original piece of Mr. Walters' artwork check it out.
Finally, how could you live without checking out the COMIC OF THE WEEK, ICON OF THE WEEK, and PICTURE OF THE WEEK? Yeah, we know what you like.
12|08|03 RIGHT, RIGHT, GOTCHA UPDATES
I'm so excited... really! There is going to be a few dandy updates in the new few weeks, but I won't spoil the surprise just yet. I just hope when the time comes, all you pretty and handsome Nerfect visitors will be happy. Just keep checking back to see what foolishness we're up to.
Right now you should check out the eight new desktop pictures (oddly enough, in the Desktop Pictures section.) Personally, I'm partial to the one of the piñata dogs, but I must admit I'm a dig fan of piñatas in the first place. Any chance I get to buy a piñata and stuff it full of lollypops that look like little roasted chickens I will take on with much zest and gusto. Bar mitzvah, blue grass jam or mass lay-offs, it is always piñata time!
Aside from piñatas and candy, I'm also a big fan of stickers (Feel free to send any of these things to: Mr. Walters c/o Nerfect Worldwide, P.O. Box 1778, N. Riverside, IL 60546.) Anyway, it is no surprise that we have a nifty, new sticker out now. You can check it out and learn how to get one by clicking here. It was printed by the fine folks at Contagious Graphics and sports a keen illustration by Mr. Walters. I know it isn't a piñata, but it is still pretty cool.

It's all over now, that mental sheild I built up around me all year has been shattered. Yes, it seems Christmas is coming again. When will people learn? You let these things happen a couple hundred times and it just keeps coming back for more. It seems from the first bite of turkey, it is Christmas insanity. Thanksgiving hardly has a chance.
The thing is that Thanksgiving is such a good holiday on its own, and it gets passed over without a second thought. Food, family and thinking about how lucky you are to have the basic necessities taken care of, these are things I understand. Buying stuff, going into debt and stress, I just have a hard time understanding. I also don't understand going to Wal-Mart at five in the morning. What are people buying at Wal-Mart at five in the morning that is so important? Maybe it is just me, but I think Jesus would like a nice homemade card, maybe some candy and to just to hang out with his friends and watch a video.
Now, I could go on with all this (I really could), but I'll cut it short. I have enough enemies as it is. I will never again share my thoughts on Finding Nemo will the kids on the block. Those rocks hurt. I'll just hide in my basement until it all blows over. What else is new right? How about the COMIC OF THE WEEK, ICON OF THE WEEK, and PICTURE OF THE WEEK. They're new as new gets.
