12 | 30 | 11 > CATCHIN' UP

Well, as promised last week, I'm a bit late with this week's updates. Mrs. Walters and I traveled to the Atlanta area to spend the holidays with my family, and after returning to the Middle West, I've been running around like crazy trying to tie up a few loose ends before the end of the year. I'd rather be working on new t-shirt and toy designs for 2012, rather than sorting through my receipts and bookkeeping, but alas, it all has to be taken care of. Oddly, with all this going on, I've been a bit late with a few things, like this site for example.

As we get moving here, I have to mention that Mrs. Walters and I have work in the Gnomeland show at Elroy Artspace in Portland, Oregon. There will be a opening reception Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm, and the show will run through February. Unfortunately, we can't make the opening or see the show in person, which is a shame because I love Portland, but if you're in that neck of the woods, please go check the show out. There are some really talented artists in it.

Next up, I have to announce that this year's daily drawing collection, 4x6x365/11 will soon be coming to a close. Before you ask, yes, I will be continuing this tradition next year, but until then, why not review the latest drawings, beginning with this piece?

I have also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. If you're into these kind of things, you should probably give the latest installments a good looking over.

Well, that is it for this week. Thanks for dropping by, and let's all keep it Nerfect in the new year.

| 21 | 11 > TWAS THE UPDATES BEFORE SOMETHING

Well look who showed up. It's nice to have you here. I don't know about you, but I've got a lot of stuff to do, so let's get right to the updates.

Right off, I'm happy to announce that the 4x6x365/11 series has a few new additions, seven nice drawings in fact. You're invited to check these new masterpieces out here.

I've also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. How about that?

By the way, before signing off, I need to deliver a brief warning about next week's updates. I know that there has been a bit of wiggling around when it comes to the when the weekly updates are up from week to week lately. This is something I really try to avoid, I like to keep the updating time and day somewhat consistent, but I just need to warn you that next week's updates might be a couple days off. As for a reason, let's just say "holiday magic."

That is it for this time around. Enjoy whatever you enjoy over the next few days. I'll be talking at you next week. Adios!

| 14 | 11 > ADVENTURES IN UPDATING

Howdy folks, it's your old pal, Mr. Walters here, and I'd like to welcome you back to Nerfect.com. Wait. Maybe I'm assuming too much. You might not really consider me a friend, but rather an internet acquaintance, and this might be your first time here. Okay, I think we've all learned something today.

By the way, before we get too deep into this week's updates, I want to issue a brief note to any of you hoping to order Nerfect wares for friends, family, enemies, government officials, etcetera, and so on for the upcoming holiday. If you haven't placed your order by now, I cannot guarantee that any new orders will arrive in time. My schedule is bananas over the next couple weeks, so I wanted to make sure I warned you folks.

Moving on to this week's updates, I'd like to start off with 4x6x365/11, my daily drawing project for this year. I've prepared another septet of scrawlings for your visual pleasure and have added them to the rest of the collection. You may review the new batch beginning with the first of them here.

I have also updated the Picture of The Week and Link of The Week. Grab yourself a hot cocoa and enjoy them in your own pace.

Before taking off, I'd like to remind those of you in the Chicago area of a couple group shows I have work in. The first is a winter showcase at Inkling, and the second is the Plushform show at Oh No! Doom. Both events are hosted at some great spaces, and both will be up most of this month. If you haven't checked them out, do make it a point to check them out.

Well, I think that is it. I'm probably forgetting a couple things, but that kind of seems to be part of the nature of this time of year, so I apologize. That aside, I hope you have an awesome rest of the week, and I hope you'll be back here next week for more Nerfectness.

| 07 | 11 > THAT'S NO MOON. IT'S AN UPDATED WEBSITE.

Here we are in December, and if there is one thing this month makes me do, it is recall the past year's successes and failings, and hopefully learning from them, formulate a series of goals you'd like to accomplish in the next year. This past year didn't go exactly to plan, but I was busy and this daring Nerfect enterprise continues to grow and develop. I have tons of ideas for 2012, and with the right amounts of luck and planning, I'm hoping to pull quite a few of them off if the universe cooperates.

This past weekend, we set up our humble booth at the Sixth Annual Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Market, and had a great show. Our thanks go out to the organizers, vendors and attendees whom made it a successful event.Such a good time was had that if they'll have us, we'll definitely be back next year.

Those of you who picked up a card, and are now checking this site out in hopes of picking up something you missed out on at the show, thanks for dropping by. I have personally taken a post-show inventory and have made sure things like shirt size availability are up to date here online. Renegade was a really busy show for us and we moved a lot of stock. Reprinting is happening as you read this, so if you have to have a specific shirt or toy and don't see it on this website, please do not hesitate to drop us a line. We'd be more than happy to answer any question you may have about such issues.

As mentioned before, this year is coming to a close and so is 4x6x365/11, Mr. Walters' daily drawing series for this year. For every single day of the year, there is a corresponding drawing, and every week a new batch of drawings is posted up here on Nerfect.com for your enjoyment and review. It is a practice Mr. Walters has been doing since 2005, and will continue into the next year. This week is no different, and you're invited to check out the latest drawings here.

Mr. Walters also openly shares a Picture of The Week, which is a photograph taken during his many adventures in space and time. Future historians will use these pictures to gain insight into his inspirations and to document his travels.

As for the Link of The Week, well, that is a gateway to another interesting spot on the internet outside of Nerfect.com. I know it seems strange, but there are other websites to visit online besides this one.

Well, that is about it for this week. Until next time, keep it Nerfect.

| 05 | 11 > HIGH FIVE FOR CRAFT SHOWS!

The Sixth Annual Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Market in Chicago went really well for us this past weekend. We really appreciate everyone who came out to support us and all the other talented craftspeople. We'd also like to thank the organizers for putting it all together and for allowing us to be part of it. We had a blast. Thank you!

If you met us at the show and are now reading this, please note one thing. We sold out of a lot of items during the show, and it is going to take a couple days to unpack and to do a inventory of our stock. If you're interested in ordering something, please drop us a line to make sure it is in stock.

Also, if this is your first time here and you have some time, have a look around. There is a lot to explore and this site's content is updated every week, so make it a point to drop by on a regular basis.
