My neck is sweaty. It's a bit warm in the lair this morning, but the weird thing is that only my neck is the only part of me sweating. I'm not sure if anyone else really needed to know that, but I thought I'd just share that with you all.
Sweaty necks aside, I'm happy to announce that I've managed another week's worth of drawings for my 4x6x365 (MMX) series. To some of you this might not seem like much, sitting down every single day and drawing something on a four by six inch piece of paper, but let me be absolutely frank with you all now. Sometimes it is way to easy to put the watercolor pencils aside and go watch the Beverly Hillbillies.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that I have seven new drawings for you all to look at and enjoy. Please do enjoy the latest batch, starting with this nice number.
Aside from all that, I have also managed to put a new Picture of The Week and Link of The Week up for all to see. Gather the family around the old compu-screen and share in the amusement.
By the way, I thought I should let you all know that the auctions of original Mr. Walters artwork continue. All artwork must go and I'm practically giving pieces away. Now is your chance to get some choice Nerfect artifacts (cheap.)
Looking at the calendar on the wall, I notice that the Next Wave Art Salon is quickly coming up on us. I'm wrapping up work on a couple paintings for the show this week. You'll be able to see them in all their glory September 10 and 11 out in lovely Elgin, Illinois.
I've also still have work up at the Harper Gallery at 1915 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It's going to be up for a while, but you probably should go check it out as soon as possible. Should you take some time off of work and go check it out? Yes.
Finally, before closing this week, I appeal to you all and ask for some advice. I am constantly looking for new venues to show my artwork and sell my wares. If you know of any cool galleries and stores, as well as craft shows and festivals that I should look into, please drop me a line. I'd really appreciate it.
Well, that is about it for now. Thanks for dropping by and please do swing by again.
