MUSTACHED RABBIT HELMET
Materials: Spray enamel, acrylic paint and paint pen on steel military helmet Size: 10 1/2” x 7” x 10 1/2” Comments: I had the idea to do some paintings and I knew of a place where I could get some surplus eastern europen helmets. Unfortunately they had sold out of them, but I was able to pick up a few at a local army-navy surplus store. This was my first helmet in the series and basically, was a test to see if my process for painting these things would work. I am pretty happy with it, but definitely see now that I should have done the image a tad smaller. The next helmet strikes a better balance. Status: Safely stored away in the Nerfect Worldwide North American Archive. Recently, I've begun to touch it up a bit.
